Technocom introduced WMS TopLog in a dealership in the Rostov Region

2021: Implementing TopLog WMS

Specialists of the IT company "Toplog" implemented the WMS TopLog in the warehouse of the enterprise "Group" Technocom, "located in a dealership in the Rostov region. This was announced by Toplog on September 29, 2021.

On the storage area of ​ ​ 1,100 sq.m., divided into four zones in accordance with the requirements for storage conditions, 3,800 active items of various sizes are located.

After an audit of logistics processes in the warehouse, identified problem places and growth points, Toplog specialists prepared a detailed "Technical Project" for object automation and a "Work Schedule." During implementation of the project the integration of TopLog WMS and the customer's PUSSYCATS is carried out, data exchange between systems happens instantly on the basis of the SOAP protocol.

After WMS is launched in the warehouse, placement planning is carried out in strict accordance with the developed standards and algorithms, sorting - taking into account membership in item groups. The calculation of the optimal place for storage of products is carried out in automatic mode, based on data on the HSG and the permissible load on the cell.

Optimization of the process of placing goods in the warehouse, including a reduction in the idle mileage of equipment and employees, was achieved in addition to direct automation, also due to the technology of consolidation of commodity units implemented in the warehouse. The sorting process is carried out during acceptance on the principle of "one commodity unit - one floor of the mezzanine."
