2023: Implementation of "1C:ERP Agro-Industrial Complex"

Terra de Lux, a company specializing in crop production and ownership of 11,000 hectares of land in the Tambov region, decided to update its information system to ensure operational management of agricultural processes. The challenge was to integrate a new solution capable of effectively supporting field accounting, operations and management processes. The old solution based on 1S:UPP did not meet the requirements, in connection with which it was decided to switch to 1C:ERP for the agro-industrial complex. As part of the tender, the ERP Band, which has experience in implementing projects in the agro-industrial industry, was chosen as the contractor.

Project objectives

The ERP Band team faced several key tasks related to the configuration and adaptation of a typical 1C:ERP solution for the needs of Terra de Lux. The company required a flexible system that would provide:

  • Operational reflection of field work.
  • Taking into account the industry specifics, including the planned and actual cost of products, crop rotation, as well as the distribution of costs to various accounts.
  • Full accounting of tax, accounting and regulated accounting transactions, taking into account current changes in legislation.
  • Modern tools for managing sales, purchasing, warehouse, as well as treasury operations.

Realization

The ERP Band team has developed a model for adapting the 1C:ERP solution for the customer's business processes, covering key subsystems:

  • Purchasing and warehouse - setting up accounting for inventory and transactions with suppliers.
  • Sales - Set up sales accounting, calculate and generate payment receipt schedules.
  • Production processes - accounting for production costs, cost calculation, including depreciation and accounting for workwear.
  • Treasury - cash management, including settlements with counterparties financial and transactions.
  • Industry specific accounting - setting up crop rotation accounting, accounting for planned and actual production costs, as well as the possibility of flexible distribution of costs.

In addition, ERP Band specialists transferred data from previous automation systems, such as warehouse balances and settlements, and helped with the setup of initial accounting. This provided the customer with a seamless transition to a new solution without significant improvements to the system.

Project results

As a result of the implementation of the new solution, Terra de Lux received a number of significant improvements in its work:

  • Operational reflection of field work - information on the performance of work in the fields has become available in real time.
  • Accounting for industry specifics - the system allows you to effectively keep records of crop rotation, as well as automatically calculate the planned and actual cost of products at the end of the year.
  • Regulated and tax accounting - the updated system now fully complies with changes in legislation, ensuring full compliance with reporting requirements.
  • Flexible and extensible reporting base - the system provides tools for the formation of dashboards and management reports, which helps in the adoption of operational decisions at all levels.

Special attention was paid to support during the launch phase, including assistance in closing the first quarter, which contributed to the rapid adaptation of personnel and the successful transition to permanent operation.

Conclusion

Adaptation project: 1CERP for agro-industrial complex Terra de Lux, he demonstrated a high level of qualification of the ERP Band team, which was able to customize the system taking into account the specifics of the work of agro-industrial enterprises. The implementation of this solution not only optimized accounting and improved data accuracy, but also provided Terra de Lux with flexibility in the future, with the possibility of further expanding and introducing new features such as a digital showcase.
