The 1C-Rarus company automated the trade and retail direction of business of the Russian confectionery holding "Integrated Confectioners".

19 brand stores and the central office of the company conduct activity using standard industry solution "1C-Rarus: Shopping complex. Food products, edition 8", created on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform. Implementation of the software product provided the high level of profitability of retail chain stores from the moment of opening.

Trade and retail activity of the largest Russian holding "Integrated Confectioners" is provided by network of shops candy stores "Darlings since the Childhood". The network is the joint project with Russian Railways company. Today the network includes 19 objects which are located at railway stations of the large cities of Russia.

At a stage of creation of retail chain stores of 1C-Rarus company it was offered to develop the complex project of automation of candy stores. Experience with the enterprises of food retail showed that optimal for Darlings since the Childhood network will become the software product "1C-Rarus: Shopping complex. Food products, edition 8" on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform. Together with an ability to manage trade processes in shops, the program allows to automate the central office.

On start of the project the management of retail chain stores defined the purposes of creation of an information system:

  • obtaining the consolidated information;
  • centralized operation by the main business processes;
  • minimization of costs;
  • providing high level of profitability of shops.

Using the software product "1C-Rarus: Shopping complex. Food products" are automated processes of management of the range, stocks, orders, deliveries and also marketing and accounting of merchandising.

Implementation of an information system allowed to receive the following results:

  • 1. Consolidation of information from all shops of network in the Central office is provided that allows to make quickly management decisions at the federal level.
  • 2. Using the system of formation of the range and application of the ABC/xyz-analysis the effective assortment matrix is constructed. Its efficiency is confirmed by high profitability of shops.
  • 3. Automatic tracking of a remaining balance of goods and formation of autoorders on the basis of an assortment matrix.
  • 4. Account of an expiration date of products is kept that is especially important during the work with the confectionery having short term of implementation. It allows to minimize existence of overdue products.
  • 5. On the basis of analytical data discount schemes are developed that allowed to attract new buyers and to increase loyalty of already available.
