2020: Implementation of technology of accounting of finished goods and its shipment towards the client

On July 24, 2020 the Zagorsk Pipe Plant (ZPP) announced end of the first stage of implementation of the Digital Warehouse program. The technology of accounting of finished goods and its shipment towards the client is integrated into an IT landscape of the enterprise.

The KPBS company became the partner in implementing solution. Solution development took 4 months then the stage of trial operation was carried out.

A system means QR marking of each unit of finished goods on a final production stage – quality control, and before transfer of a pipe on a warehouse of address storage. At the same time special mobile scanners which supply all employees occupied in shipment of finished goods and at inventory of a warehouse have data reading potential from the code. The QR code contains all necessary information on a product, including quality certificates and detailed data about the status of this unit of finished goods in a system.

In addition, in the system of "A digital warehouse" which for July, 2020 is integrated into the current uniform MES system of the enterprise information on shipment of a pipe is in real time brought that allows to keep track quickly of the status of shipment of products and also shipment type – motor transport, the gondola car or the pipe carrier. In a system the electronic packing list automatically forms that also allows to organize processes of shipment and logistics quickly. Moreover, the system of "a digital warehouse" is integrated through the TL ACS system with the railway ETRAN system. Thus an opportunity to create not only internal shipment documents when scanning a unit of production and its sending, but also the documents required for transfer of the Zagorsk pipe on Russian Railway network is reached.

Digitalization is, first of all, transfer to an electronic form of interaction of commands which was performed through paper earlier. In the second queue - it is online information both on production, and on a current status of a warehouse, process of shipment of products to the client. In 2020 which in our company is devoted to internal efficiency we relied on such projects of digitalization which bring result here and now, at the same time have real influence on optimization of production cycles. System implementation on acceptance, address storage and a task in production of the sheet from our key suppliers of rolling will be the next stage within digitalization of warehouse economy.

For July 24, 2020 works on expansion of the Digital Warehouse system are in implementation phase. The planned term of total digitalization of warehouse economy of ZTZ – spring of 2021.

2018: Creation of a transmission system, storage and data analysis

On January 14, 2019 it became known that at the Zagorsk pipe plant the first stage of the program of digitalization of the enterprise was completed. Within a stage the transmission system, storages and data analysis of SPHAD (the uniform service bus) for data integration arriving from systems with different classification with a possibility of their further use by the reporting system which is built in SPHAD or external systems of visualization was created. As the software solution used for creation of the service bus the integration SIS platform was used. Specialists of a project team of the Zagorsk pipe plant and also KPBS company took part in implementation.

Key project objective – conversion of an IT landscape of the Zagorsk pipe plant to service-oriented architecture in which intersystem integration will be performed according to uniform standards, but taking into account technology features of each of the integrated systems. Function of the guaranteed data transmission between the different systems is undertaken by the SIS platform. Also within the project the differentiated monitoring system reflecting planned and actual targets of production for change in real time with a possibility of their further interpretation was constructed.

The production indicators collected by means of an integration bus allow us to trace all cycle of production of a pipe in online the mode. It and the accruing result for change, both collecting and information storage on production phases from an APCS and MES on hours, and display in deshborda of compliance of production on each section of the planned performance. In fact, the project gave us a free hand on formation of a further landscape of IT systems of the enterprise and made possible total digitalization already in the short term. Key task of the IT block of the enterprise within harmonization of production data is integration of systems SAP ERP and MES 1C which is executed also by means of the uniform service bus.
