In the middle of January, 2020 the Spanish bank CaixaBank announced the beginning of use of artificial intelligence within the internal educational platform. For this purpose Virtaula startup was involved in cooperation.
In the educational Virtaula portal of AI systems it is used for profiling of employees and determination of what preparation they can receive. The chat-bot which communicates in a natural language also helps employees to get access to rates if they want to accept the offer.
On the Virtaula bank portal conducts a language course, training of work with digital resources and finance and also teaches risk management. On the portal both university rates are available to graduate students, and short-term rates. The Virtaula platform also provides to employees access to necessary regulating documents which knowledge is obligatory for all workers of the financial sector.
Use of AI in the Virtaula platform will provide to each employee access to rates which potentially could draw its attention, said in the declaration of CaixaBank. In 2019 more than 90% of rates which the bank offered personnel were carried out via the educational Virtaula portal. Over time a system will work even better, promises bank. Our educational offers will also continue to be improved in process of training of employees and improvement of a system. |
Use of AI in CaixaBank — an excellent example of use of a didzhitalization of banks outside customer interaction using chat-bots or replacement of the repeating routine tasks in process automation. Such use of technologies allows to realize the potential of employees, carrying out the tasks not subject to personnel department. Besides, such use of AI allows to calm personnel and to show that technologies are designed to help them, but not to replace with itself.[1]
