2022: Installation of more than 1,700 post offices in Magnit and Dixy stores

In the stores "Magnit" and "Dixy" (part of the group of companies "Magnit") in 35 cities throughout the country, 1,741 post offices of "Russian Post" appeared. This is about 40% of its entire network of automated issuance points located in partner locations. This was announced on July 25, 2022 in the Magnit network.

As of July 2022, more than 7,500 post offices of the Post Office operate throughout Russia: 4,894 of their own and more than 2,700 partners. It is one of the largest networks of automated points of issue in the country. Pochtomats are installed in pharmacies, supermarkets, shopping centers, crossings at Moscow metro stations and bus stations. In test mode, fully autonomous devices work in the entrances of residential buildings in the Moscow region.

You can pick up prepaid orders from online stores from post offices, and by the end of the year it will be possible to pay for parcels by card through the POS terminal.

According to the Post Office's own research, 27% of customers pick up orders from online stores in post offices. Respondents are attracted by the convenient location of devices near the house/work, the absence of queues and the ability to receive a package at any time.

"Developing the network of post offices, we give preference to locations that will allow customers to receive parcels, did not change the usual route. In the future, we plan to develop cooperation with Magnit and cover more network points. The task of the Post is to build a system in which the recipient can reach the post office, post office or point of issue of orders in a maximum of 10 minutes in order to pick up the parcel, "said Alexey Laptev, Deputy General Director of Russian Post for Operational Management and Retail Trade.

"We are interested in developing modern services in stores that provide additional value for customers when visiting the outlet. The work of postal workers can have a positive effect on the traffic of objects, which means potentially increasing their turnover and, in general, increasing customer loyalty, so we will continue to work together with the Post in this direction, "said Maxim Shchegolev, director of network development, real estate and operation of Magnit.
