On November 25, 2013 the Servionica company announced implementation in DPC TrustInfo of a new solution of the conditioning created on the basis of the equipment Schneider Electric.
Project Progress
The DPC TrustInfo is created on modularity: it is separated into five blocks, each of which — the independent data center including two machine halls with autonomous engineering infrastructure. Each module is provided with a conditioning system. Optimization of energy consumption is reached, first of all, due to use of the highly effective cold accumulator, the water-cooling machines with the Turbocor compressors, fans of precision conditioners with the EC drive (the electronic switched engine), use of technology of freecooling and also flexible management by infrastructure depending on loading of servers. For optimal conditioning of the halls which are in a distance from heat exchangers freon Uniflair conditioners of production Schneider Electric with an output of condensers to a building roof of data center are installed. Conditioners are behind a wall of machine halls so the limited length of freon routes in this case — not an obstacle.
"To correspond to the growing requests of the market and the becoming complicated customer requirements, the data center TrustInfo implements a number of programs for technical and technology updating. The new engineering solution on the basis of the equipment Schneider Electric allows to use fully advantages of modern technologies of conditioning and to avoid the costs connected with design and building of internal communications for use of water cooling", - Evgeny Shchepilov, the company executive Servionika noted.
Reference of an object
The data center TrustInfo has one of the highest levels of availability: 99.982%, provided, including, due to reservation of all key systems according to requirements of the TierIII standard. The power density consumed by one rack averages 5-6 kW. But engineering infrastructure TrustInfo copes also with loadings to 15 kW without retrofitting by additional resources of conditioning.
For such racks wider will be organized — up to 1800 mm — the isolated "cold corridor". As of November 26, 2013 loading of DPC TrustInfo makes 80%: in December, 2012, after commissioning of two new machine halls, the area for placement of server capacities increased Bol, than twice, and today in data center the optimal ratio of the rented and reserved areas is supported.
Upgrade of a system of the guaranteed power supply
On September 30, 2015 it became known of planned upgrade of a system of the guaranteed power supply of DPC TrustInfo.
The Servionica company announced start of the third reserve diesel generator set in data center TrustInfo, one of the largest kTsOD in Russia corresponding to the level of reliability Tier III. The Diesel Generator Set (DGS) increased reserve capacities of the system of the guaranteed power supply (SGPS) of data center by 50%.
Complexity of the project in the structure of the operating SGE are carried out to need of installation and connection of new DGU in the operating data center with the high level of filling, without interruption of the provided services and a stop of the crucial systems. Smooth operation of data center was ensured by exact planning and effective project organization.
"Energy consumption of client racks grows, and planned expansion of number of DGU provides readiness of data center for increase in loading not only from existing, but also from new clients. Such advancing readiness guarantees the high level of reliability and fault tolerance of data center TrustInfo", - Mikhail Lukovnikov, the director noted TrustInfo.
From the moment of opening TrustInfo in 2008 engineering and computing infrastructures of data center are constantly improved.
For uninterrupted electricity supply the main and reserve lines from urban substations 110/10kv are brought to the transformer substations TrustInfo located in the certain building. On a case of possible interruptions in power supply the data center TrustInfo is equipped with no break power supply system which redundant circuit turns on automatically. In case of loss at once of both power supply lines (the main and reserve) – automatic equipment transfers DPC to work from superreliable sources of uninterrupted power supply (UPS) capable to maintain operability of all equipment within 45 minutes. Along with it there is a start of DGU and the subsequent transition to power supply from SGE.
DGU as a part of SBE work in the parallel mode that allows to increase fault tolerance, to provide balancing of loading of devices and energy efficiency of work. The total volume of fuel of all of DGU is enough for work of data center within more than 72 hours at 100% to loading, and if necessary the reserve of diesel fuel can be filled up.
