The Tyumen institute of the engineering systems is going to pass to replace a foreign CAD to NanoCAD

The Tyumen institute of the engineering Innovation systems TIIS ("Innovation") made the decision on transition from import to domestic CAD. The greatest interest of specialists of institute was attracted by software products based on nanoCAD. Closer to get acquainted with their opportunities, it was decided to test the following software products: nanoCAD Plus, nanoCAD VK Construction nanoCAD nanoCAD of RPE nanoCAD Heating nanoCAD SCS nanoCAD SPDS Scheme nanoCAD Elektro nanoCAD. If tests take place successfully, TIIS "Innovation" is going to pass since 2017 to the nanoCAD platform.
Evgeny Petrovich Potapenko, the lead engineer of group of engineering networks and communications of department of complex design of TIIS "Innovation" notes: "Our institute specializes in construction of industrial, construction engineering facilities, pipeline transport trunks using the most modern ideology, methodology and practical acceptances. We expect from transition to the domestic CAD platform to receive:
- technology independence of products of import production;
- an effective feedback with developers for further optimization and adaptation of software under requirements of the end user;
- a possibility of finished product output according to domestic standards that will save from need of completion of software tools (developments of templates and standards according to requirements of regulating documents, development of databases of domestic production, completion of the nomenclature, etc.).
Using the tested systems sections by electrotechnical parts (ES, EM, EO) of the project were executed. In the automatic mode calculation of an illumination level was made that allowed to save the working day. All equipment on an object was selected from an embedded database thanks to what we avoided need of the choice of suitable samples and significantly reduced terms of accomplishment of sections. A possibility of calculation of loadings and check of all technical characteristics allowed to exclude "inconsistencies" and errors of design. Besides, design is performed in 3D - Wednesday, and automatic formation of schemes happens according to the existing specifications and technical documentation that provides an opportunity to issue preliminary amounts of works for estimate department in the short time".
