2022: Developing an information system for farmers
Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov spoke about the development of an information system for farmers. This became known on April 7, 2022.
On the instructions of the Head of State, the Ministry of Agriculture is developing a "Unified State Information System for Subsidizing the Agro-Industrial Complex" (hereinafter - EGISS). The main functionality of EGISS will be the formation in automatic mode of a register of recipients of subsidies, checking their conformity to the category of agricultural producers according to the OKED, registering counter obligations of recipients of subsidies and assessing the degree of their implementation, the order of receipt of subsidies and the waiting list for unsatisfied applications, "wrote Alikhan Smailov in his response to the deputy's request. |
According to him, unlike the Qoldau system (digital platform for business), this system will be free for farmers and integrated with all major state databases.
All actions of the system will be automated, which will minimize corruption risks in the distribution and issuance of subsidies. At the same time, due to the integration of EGISS with state information systems, there will be no need to demand additional certificates from service recipients (farmers), which they apply to confirm the appropriateness of receiving subsidies, the Prime Minister said. - Thus, the above-mentioned measures will significantly reduce social tension, since farmers will no longer pay annual subscription fees and provide additional documents. As of April 2022, a pilot project is being carried out in the Akmola region. In general, these issues are under constant control of the Government, appropriate measures are being taken on them, "A. Smailov concluded [1]. |
