2020: Plans of implementation implementation of the full-fledged warehouse management system Solvo.WMS
On October 29, 2020 the SOLVO company reported that on the railway ULS terminal in Uzbekistan within the Solvo.SCE project implementation of the full-fledged warehouse management system Solvo.WMS for several platforms and the Solvo.WEB add-on module for remote work with clients of the terminal is planned at once.
ULS company – the reliable partner of "SOLVO" in Uzbekistan and one of the first customers who will be able to pass to the updated technology platform of "SOLVO" integrating at once several software products in a uniform information field in the nearest future.
Due to the increasing goods turnover, expansion of the main range of the provided services and the processed loads the company had a need of automation of the terminal.
In general, the choice is explained by long-term work experience of "SOLVO" in this area and a large number of the implemented projects and also competently made commercial offer after the conducted preliminary survey of the terminal. |
After approval of all parts of terms of reference and technologies of work the Solvo.TOS system of version 4.0 was installed, start of a system in operation took less than a month.
Among systems capabilities of Solvo.TOS, the most demanded on the terminal, it is possible to select:
- Interactive scheme of the terminal. Operational management of the terminal is exercised using the interactive "map of port" or the graphics editor which visualizes objects of topology of the terminal and allows to manage them in real time;
- Management of operators using mobile shipping documentations: dockers, tallymans, operators of the equipment, mechanics. All operational employees of the terminal work with a management system via mobile devices on OS Android;
- Routing of the terminal equipment;
- Management of loading/unloading of trains. The instrument of automation of pogruzo-discharging on the railway front of the terminal with graphical representation;
- Internet portal Solvo.Web. The request for a visit of motor transport is made out by the forwarding agent on the Internet in real time using technology a time-slotirovaniya;
- Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). The module is intended for automation of process of Electronic Data Interchange between cargo terminals;
- Accounting of additional transactions. Management of a rastarkoy/zatarka, examinations, repairs (CFS);
- Rules and strategy of placement of containers. At any movements of containers in the territory of the container terminal a system uses the configured algorithm allowing to minimize quantity of stowages;
- Management of depot of empty containers. Rules automated issue/acceptance of empty containers on the terminal;
- Integration with ERP and the accounting systems;
- Tracking of all transactions on the terminal, data preparation for billing;
- Flexible reporting system. Allows users to create necessary reports without programming.
In the nearest future the company plans updating of the Solvo.TOS system to the next version that will allow to automate management of transactions of container and general loads in a single system.
Use of the separate software solution Solvo.Billing allows to automate commercial document flow and tariffing of services of the terminal. This module is integrated with Solvo.TOS and the head system of the customer based on 1C with which communicates under the most modern protocols.
Already in the current year it is planned that the terminal will become one of the first customers of "SOLVO" who implemented a technology platform – Solvo.SCE, or Solvo Supply Chain Execution. This integrated platform for management of portooriyentirovanny logistics has service-oriented architecture and is capable to integrate several solutions in a common information space at once: Solvo.TOS, Solvo.WMS, Solvo.Gate, Solvo.Billing, Solvo.WEB, Solvo.KPI or any their combinations.
2015: Solvo.TOS implementation
In 2015 on the container Universal Logistics Services terminal in Uzbekistan the terminal management system of Solvo.TOS which, according to the representative of the company, for last five years allowed the customer to cope with more than double increase in goods turnover comfortably was implemented.
