TrueConf and Newtech implemented in the Turan university the video conference server for remote training

2020: TrueConf Server implementation

The company TrueConf announced on September 1, 2020 that it together with distributor technologies NewTech Distribution and Association of users of a scientific and educational computer network Kazakhstan KazRENA, built network video conference for employees and students Turan university. On server the equipment of the university it was unrolled VIDEOCONFERENCING- the platform TrueConf Server which provides remote holding video lectures and examinations and also meetings of teaching board. After three months of work in such format the management Turan made the decision to develop system of remote education based on SOFTWARE TrueConf and after end of a pandemic.

Implementation cost and service, independence of operability of cloud services and also a possibility of holding video lectures without risk of connection of the third parties and harm to learning process became important criteria when choosing a visual communication system available, in comparison with the western analogs.

After testing of different solutions VIDEOCONFERENCING — Zoom, Skype, Adobe Connect and others — the management Turana Range stopped on program system  of TrueConf Server which showed high resistance to network interruptions and stable communication during the work with weak Internet channels. System deployment on the server hardware of the university allowed to receive Turana Range full control over remote training without risk of data transmission via foreign servers.

Employees and students are connected to working meetings or online lectures using the personal devices: The PC, notebooks, tablets and smartphones on which client applications of TrueConf are installed. The TrueConf Server system provides to teachers flexible planning of lectures and start of conferences on the fly with an opportunity to invite the necessary group of students in 2 cliques. The platform of webinars which is built in TrueConf Server also allows pupils to join video lectures on the link using the normal browser.

In addition to video conference, employees and pupils use the tools embedded in applications by TrueConf for joint work: record of video lectures for the subsequent training of students, transfer of training materials in chats, demonstration of the screen and the presentations, vote and many other things. To expand audience of the audience, using TrueConf software teachers can also start broadcast of video lectures on YouTube.
