On December 2, 2013 the Technoserv Consulting company announced end of system implementation of master data management on the Oracle Customer Hub platform in VTB 24 bank.
Project Tasks
IT strategy VTB 24 provides transition to the advanced solutions and implementation of the principles of service-oriented architecture. As of November, 2013 in bank the uniform front office for work with clients is developed, applications for internal financial accounting and management of credit products are upgraded. To provide integrity and coordination of information, effective solution of the class MDMMaster Data Management [1] is necessary. For creation of a system the Oracle Customer Hub platform which has the powerful built-in tools for quality improvement of data is selected.
Implementation was executed by Technoserv Consulting company.
Project Progress
Engineers Technoserv Consulting created a uniform data model, the project of processes of synchronization and consolidation of the data arriving from more than 20 different sources. Algorithms of cleaning, deduplication and addition of data on clients are developed. Standardization of data is reached due to use of the all-Russian reference books and qualifiers. In addition to the automated processes the special interface for quality control group of data which staff manually process the most complex cases is created.
Data on any changes in data on 340 thousand corporate clients and 12.3 million individuals of VTB 24 and on 2.3 million ex-clients of Transcreditbank come to a system. It allows to support information in the customer base in the most complete and current status. Now the solution processes about 20-40 addresses per second, in process of implementation and connection of new banking applications loading will increase to 100 addresses per second.
"Preprocessing of client data showed that the share of high-quality records made about 70%. Using implementation of a MDM system of Oracle we brought this indicator to 85%. And in a year we are going to raise it to 98%. Business will be able to understand profiles of our clients more accurately, so, their requirements. Finally it will affect efficiency of marketing campaigns positively and also will reduce risks at decision making about issuance of credits" — Denis Guzovsky, the associate director of department of banking and information technologies of VTB 24 noted.
