LANIT handed over 15. laptops IRBIS Vera Charitable Foundation The technique will be shared among the foundation's key services helping terminally ill people and their families. LANIT announced this on June 17, 2025.

Laptops are designed for hospice coordinators, awareness and education services, case support services. The technique will help speed up the processing of requests and make help more accessible.

Since 2006, the Vera Foundation has been systematically developing palliative care in Russia, supporting 20 hospices in Moscow and the regions, the Pro Palliative educational portal and the Mobile Nurse application. His activities cover a wide range of areas, ranging from direct care for patients and their families to large-scale work on changing legislation and public consciousness in the field of palliative medicine.

One of the key areas of the Fund's work is to provide direct support to seriously ill people. In addition, the foundation provides targeted charitable assistance: provides the wards with the necessary medicines, medical devices and equipment, hygienic care products, and the foundation's lawyers help to seek the necessary assistance from the state, accompanying families in this process.

It is important for us to support organizations that change the quality of life of seriously ill people. The transferred equipment will help the foundation employees fulfill their mission, said Natalia Cherkasova, head of social projects at LANIT.

The foundation's team does a huge layer of work in the office and directly in hospices throughout Moscow. And much depends on the speed of equipment and its convenience - for example, how quickly we will form documents for the purchase of the necessary equipment, how smoothly negotiations with benefactors will take place, whether we will quickly process applications for volunteering. This is just a small part of what our employees need laptops for. Mobility, lightness, and responsiveness are essential.
