Axelot automated planning process and control of transportations for "A northern way"

On June 6, 2019 the Axelot company announced automation of planning process and control of transportations in Northern Way company.

AXELOT TMS allows to manage process of transportations, to control activity of drivers, to keep account of own vehicle fleet.

Northern Way company – the official representative of network of the tire centers of a premium class of Vianor in Moscow. The network offers buses for passenger and trucks of different producers. Besides, VIANOR shops offer the clients and other range: rims, accumulators and other autogoods.

"The northern way" performs delivery on wholesale and retail clients and also replenishment of own shops across Moscow, the Moscow region and nearby regions.

The growing number of orders and the shipped volumes, lack of control of work of own and hired drivers, lack of the automated control system for own vehicles were premises of the choice of this management system for transport and transportations. The main criteria for the selected system were:

• Ability to manage process of transportations – automatic formation and control of accomplishment of runs;
• Possibility of automated management of own vehicles;
• Ability to integrate and complex work with information management systems enterprise and WMS.

For implementation by the company the logistic AXELOT X platform with a management system for transportations and transport – AXELOT TMS X4 was selected. For project implementation of system implementation specialists of AXELOT company were invited.

Within the project loading process of requirements of transportation from a corporate system "1C: Trade Management 8" using service of message queues DATAREON MQ was implemented.

Automatic planning of routes for long-distance runs and a delivery of products across Moscow and the Moscow region taking into account different restrictions and temporary windows is implemented. 60 runs a day by 700 orders are on average performed by both own, and hired vehicles.

The mobile client for drivers allowing to fix the fact, to receive and analyze information on the arising events and problems in the course of execution of runs is implemented. Integration with the system of satellite monitoring Wialon for fixing of location of own vehicles is also executed at any moment and the analysis of the acquired information in a system is performed. The created routes are unloaded in the AXELOT WMS X5 system which is a part of the logistic AXELOT X platform. Integration of WMS and TMS is also implemented using DATAREON MQ.

For accounting of own vehicle fleet process of accounting of relevant run and a consumption of fuel and lubricants of vehicles, accounting of repairs and maintenance, the material consumption and units with maintaining their remaining balance in warehouses is implemented.

The automated process of accounting of waybills is implemented. The reports on management of own park allowing a message statistics of expenses and repairs of own vehicles are configured.

Thus the tasks of management of transportations and transport set for a system were implemented. Further the company is going to develop the solution for accounting of all costs of transport division (direct, indirect and deferred expenses), with subsequent distribution of expenses on runs and the delivered orders for delivery profitability analysis.
