To minimize the impact of the human factor on business processes and improve the level of service, the management of VLADHLEB JSC decided to fully automate the management of logistics processes and at the first stage switch from the previous generation TMS to the AXELOT TMS software solution. During the implementation of TMS, AXELOT specialists took into account the peculiarities of business processes in VLADHLEB, which were implemented in the system using the following functionality:

  • Transportation management with the participation of the company's own sectional transport equipped with refrigeration units to maintain temperature conditions;
  • Control of light selection of goods using integration with the gravitational rack system for picking orders Pick-by-Light in the expedition area;
  • Accounting of runs and fuel residues in the tank;
  • Tracking of acceptance/delivery of containers as part of transportation;
  • Calculation of the motivational part of drivers.

The introduction of AXELOT TMS provided VLADKHLEB JSC with a tool to optimize logistics processes and increase labor productivity.

Thanks to AXELOT TMS, it became possible to flexibly adjust the schedules of periodic flights in terms of vehicle body disposal, taking into account the temperature conditions of the products. The company's logicians have received a tool that repeatedly speeds up the flight planning process and controls all the necessary cargo parameters. The configured functionality allows you to:

  • Automatically distribute the cargo to vehicles, taking into account the weight and size characteristics of the transport;
  • Take into account the temperature conditions of the product;
  • Take into account sections in vehicles (for frozen/chilled products and goods with a normal temperature regime);
  • Distribute orders according to the routes you specify.

The task of the project was not only to automate the transport component, but also to control the selection of goods in the expedition zone. For this, AXELOT specialists have set up seamless integration with a software solution responsible for selection according to the Pick-by-Light principle. Integration allows you to transfer information on the product from TMS to the assembly and receive back data on the actually collected product. Further, the data are transmitted to the CIS, and based on the information on the completed configuration, accompanying documentation is generated on the CIS side.

Thanks to AXELOT TMS, expedition area employees have the ability to track the assembly process using a special interface that displays the target picture and the actual status of the assembled flights in sequence according to the shipment schedule from the warehouse. The interface also allows you to see planned flights for which you can assemble an article a few days before the start of shipment.

The functionality of tracking lists allows a timely detailed analysis of runs and fuel residues in vehicle tanks, which are automatically loaded into TMS from the transport monitoring satellite system (CCMT), from stationary trackers and fuel level sensors. Based on the data received from SSMT, TMS provides transparent analytics on the work performed and the resources spent.

To analyze the movement of containers, a functionality has been developed that takes into account the delivery and delivery of containers by drivers back to the warehouse. The system makes it possible to transparently record the movement of containers for subsequent control of the issued and returned quantities with recording of the difference on the driver.

Using AXELOT TMS, the company's employees were able to flexibly adjust the calculation of the motivational component of drivers' wages. The calculation is carried out automatically based on the results of each day. Also, during a work shift, when the values ​ ​ of indicators change, wages are recalculated automatically, which, in turn, makes it possible to analyze the final information online.

During the AXELOT project, TMS was integrated with the enterprise CIS using the DATAREON ESB data service bus. Thanks to the configured integration, the information required for the logist to work from the CIS is automatically and promptly transferred to the TMS, and the actual results in the opposite direction.

As a result of the introduction of AXELOT TMS in VLADHLEB JSC, the efficiency of transportation management and the accuracy of delivery control have increased. The system provides a transparent analysis of the motivational component for drivers required for the subsequent payment of wages. Having evaluated the features of the system and taking into account the further expansion of the business, the company's management has already planned its further development in terms of automation of processes related to servicing its own fleet of vehicles.
