Content

Specialists LANITH DV equipped with the engineering systems a radio engineering post – a component of the Management System for Ship Traffic (MSST) of Vladivostok port on the cape of Goldobina. LANITH DV carried out all complex of works on creation of the structured cable network: delivery of necessary components, preparation of an object for system implementation, installation and commissioning and testing of network.

Start

For the first time the put into operation in 1987 and belonging at that time to the Pacific fleet, radio engineering post was an important strategic object. It was constructed at the height of 61 m above sea level and intended for control of ship traffic in the water area of Vladivostok port. Since the end of the 90th years of the XX century the building of a post was deserted because of a political and economic situation in the country.

Solution

Within project implementation "A sea facade of Vladivostok" reconstruction of the building of a radio engineering post is carried out. Creation of the structured cable network (SCN) so that to provide fault-free functioning of a local computer network and system of telephone communication, entering information infrastructure of an automation object was a project objective, executed by specialists LANITH DV. LANITH DV also developed technical solution and equipped with a conditioning system the premises server. Thus, proper climatic conditions for operation of server and telecommunication equipment were created. Upon termination of reconstruction the radio engineering post was transferred to operational management of NORFES company.

The post is equipped by the most modern today technical means. High-precision radar station of millimetric range, the system of video and thermovision observation of the water area allowed to increase significantly control of navigation in Vladivostok port that is especially relevant in anticipation of the coming APEC summit - 2012. By means of high-speed radio relay lines of STM-1 level the post is completely integrated into a single system and became a component of SUDS of Vladivostok port which is included in turn into regional SUDS of Peter the Great Bay. In view of strategic importance of this object questions of fault tolerance are of particular importance. The capital technology equipment is reserved according to the scheme of a "hot" reserve. Functioning of all specified systems is provided by means of network and server infrastructures, their trouble-free operation is impossible without competently designed and executed SCS, to the meeting all modern quality requirements and reliability. Therefore for a basis products of one of world leaders were selected from production of SCS – Legrand companies, and for the climatic systems – the equipment Mitsubishi Electric.

Piotr Bauer, deputy CEO for business development and sales LANITH DV: "As a result of creation of SCS the staff of LANITH DV company managed to execute several tasks set for them at once. First of all, costs for maintenance of the cable infrastructures used by the different low-current systems due to creation of a single universal cable system were reduced. Secondly, a system is created taking into account information security policy of customer organization. Thirdly, at the expense of long term of service SCS without the need for upgrade the safety of capital investments is ensured that is important for any business. Ensuring independence of computing systems, communication systems and the engineering systems from type of the physical medium, a possibility of centralized operation and monitoring of physical connections of a cable system in real time was a factor, also essential to the customer. Creation of the engineering systems on this object gave the chance to work with normal active equipment of any producers".
