The Volga-Vyatka bank of Sberbank of Russia unrolled an information security monitoring system

On November 21, 2013 the Softline company announced end of system implementation of information security monitoring in the Volga-Vyatka bank of Sberbank of Russia.

Project Tasks

Within upgrade of a management system for IT infrastructure, specialists were faced by a problem of selection of the solution which will provide data protection, without slowing down work of information systems. Besides, the solution should promote increase in effective management of events of cybersecurity and IT infrastructure, cutting of costs for incident management of cybersecurity. The staff of IT service of the customer, as software tools of control and management of IT assets, selects an information security monitoring system of Symantec Security Information Manager.

Project Progress

The project is implemented in a short time and consisted of four main stages:

• analysis of information and network infrastructure;
• design and development of operational documentation taking into account specifics of business of the customer;
• implementation and configuring of systems,
• input of software in operation.

Project Results

Results of system implementation of monitoring: increase in effective management of IT infrastructure, cutting of costs for incident management and simplification of control of observance of regulations of information security.
