"The Volgograd engineering company "VGTZ" implements a management system for engineering data

On February 25, 2014 the APPIUS company announced project completion of system implementation "1C:PDM Management of engineering data" in Volgograd Engineering Company VGTZ LLC. The project is implemented with direct participation of company "Inform Standart".

Project Progress

In the course of implementation various reports on performance control of work of users in a system are developed, it helped heads of functional divisions of a message operational monitoring of the performed works.

Technologists and norm setters entered "The enlarged technology processes" to the created earlier rastsekhovochny routes. "The enlarged technology process" is a transfer of technology transactions with indication of work center on which transaction, piece time, consumption rate of the main material is executed.

Input of new single and standard technology processes was as required made. Employees of technology archive scanned technology documentation and also drawings of the special equipment, and added files the scan copies to 1C system elements : PDM.

For February 25, 2014 schemes of electronic approval of changes of design-technology data are fulfilled.

For simplification and simplification of factory job such software products for a 1C system are used: PDM as "Editor of routes", "Editor Route chart, "ERP component 1C:PDM with calculation of normative cost value".

Implementation is carried out by forces of Inform Standard LLC group at methodical and technical support of specialists of departments of development and deployment of APPIUS company.

Project Results

Benefits from implementation 1C:PDM:

• High-quality job management in a unified environment of specialists in the different functional directions is provided;
• It is received relevant and authentic information on design-technology preparation of production;
• The intersystem data transmission interface between PDM and ERP is fixed;
• The most exact calculation of normative cost value of products and formation of production plans on the basis of real design-technology data is implemented.

In November, 2013 a system is accepted in operation.
