Rostelecom increased effective management of IT resources of the medical center in Voronezh

Rostelecom announced on April 11, 2018 implementation of the hardware and software system "SKIT" in "Voronezh Medical Information and Analytical Center" (VMIAC) that allowed to create a uniform node for management of IT infrastructure. A system provides quality control of operation of hardware, communication channels, the software and also keeps technical account and monitoring of network traffic. Specialists of Rostelecom completely automated processes of collecting, accounting and service of program technical means and also transmission media of these and other services.

The SKIT complex developed by Globus-Telecom Ltd – subsidiary company of Rostelecom, includes three basic subsystems: online monitoring of IT infrastructure, technical support service and inventory.

The monitoring subsystem automatically notifies personnel in case of failures or anomalies in work program or hardware. In turn, the subsystem of technical support automates service of users, request processing on upgrade of infrastructure and also controls execution of these tasks and creates plans of scheduled works. The subsystem of inventory provides accounting of the equipment and software of jobs of employees, the office equipment and information complexes.

Data are collected automatically and compared with accounting of fixed assets. It allows to receive the most reliable assessment of a status of IT resources, to perform support of delivery agreements, license agreements, to provide accomplishment of warranty obligations.
