JSC Voronezhsintezkauchuk creates multiservice network of data exchange

The Microtest company completed the project on creation of a multiservice data network for the JSC Voronezhsintezkauchuk enterprise on the basis of the equipment Cisco Catalyst 6500, the press service of integrator reported on March 11, 2013.

Background

The network operating at the enterprise did not provide high data transfer rate, required degree of their security and level of services, necessary for work of information systems. The planned expansion of production and dissatisfaction with technical capabilities pushed the management Voronezhsintezkauchuk to search of ways of increase in its performance.

The decision on creation of new high-performance network based on the modern equipment Cisco is made. According to the results of the tender the Microtest company became the contractor of the project.

Solution

Within the project Microtest conducted examination, design of a multiservice data network, delivery and installation of equipment, the systems of power supply and the system of wireless access are created, acceptance tests of network are carried out.

Details

The multiservice data network created based on high-performance Cisco switches of the Catalyst 6500 series and access switches of the Catalyst 2960 series includes more than 50 nodes and covers all territory of the enterprise, supporting work more than 1000 employees.
