1C-Rarus automated control of vehicles of the international 3PL-operator of WETT Group. The new information system created on the basis of solutions of the 1C:Enterprise 8 system integrated work of all divisions of WETT Group in Russia, Estonia and Finland. Operating control of sea and land container transportations is organized, management of difficult multimodal transportations is optimized. Order processing on cargo delivery accelerated. Idle times in work of drivers and the equipment were reduced. The monthly "average run" of one vehicle grew from 6000 km in 2014 to 7500 km in 2015, at the same time the empty run - from 48% in 2014 considerably decreased to 25% in 2015. Almost costs for fuels and lubricants decreased by 10%. The profitability indicator on 1 km of a run is increased by 25%.

WETT group – the international 3PL-operator specializing in logistics in Russia, the CIS countries and the EU. The company offers a range of services on transactions with loads, beginning from any kinds of transportation, insurance, customs clearance and before rendering legal services and services in warehouse processing and storage of loads in Russia and Europe. In assets of group - 494 vehicles, including the 115th trunk tractor and also 40 thousand sq.m of warehouse. In staff of the company 450 professionals work. Offices of the company work in Russia, Estonia and Finland.

Monthly the enterprises of group receive more than 3000 orders for transportation of goods. For their timely accomplishment the company needs to manage quickly logistics, sea and container forwarding, to control location and movements of transport, quickly and to correctly process accompanying documents.

The management of the enterprise made the decision on implementation of an information system which would allow to integrate work of all divisions of the WETT group, including branches in Estonia and Finland. It was required to accelerate processing of the entering orders, to organize operational planning and control of transportations, to optimize loading of transport.

The single system is decided to be created on the basis of industry products "1C: Trade Management", "1C: Motor Vehicle Management PROF" and "1C-Rarus: Transport logistics and forwarding". Works on automation entrusted experts 1C-Rarus.

In interaction with Anna Durum, the head of department of the analysis, development and control, and Islam by Gadzhiyev, the head of information technology of WETT Group, creates a new information system. 60 jobs at offices of the company in Moscow, Estonia and Finland are automated.

KEY RESULTS OF THE PROJECT

  • Control of sea and land container transportations is strengthened, the accuracy of planning of difficult multimodal transportations increased. Processing of the entering orders accelerated, strict control of volume and weight of each unit of cargo is adjusted. As a result it was succeeded to optimize loading of vehicles, to increase correctness of filling of accompanying documents and to considerably reduce risks when passing customs procedures.
  • Accurate inventory control of loads on each commodity unit is provided, safe custody of loads is organized, control of movements of mortgage goods is strengthened. There was an opportunity in real time to control movement of each transported unit of cargo on containers and warehouses, to quickly consider all insured events. As a result significantly shortages and a resort of loads decreased.
  • The system of accounting of vehicles, uniform for all divisions of the company, is created. Managers always possess now exact information on technical condition of cars, to the buses installed on them, accumulators and other units, about terms of approach of checkups, to the made and planned repairs. It allows to plan and perform more precisely and timely maintenance works and to repair of transport. The company is completely sure now that in each timepoint all pieces of equipment are in operating and condition ready for operation.
  • All information on documents of drivers and documents on transport is stored in a system. It helps managers to control completion dates of documents and to transfer orders only to those employees whose documents as it should be. As a result the efficiency of use of transport increased, idle times in work of drivers and the equipment were reduced, the monthly "average run" of one driver grew from 6000 km in 2014 to 7500 km in 2015.
  • A system is integrated with the system of satellite monitoring and also with the specialized system of cartography which allows to control location of transport visually. It allows to estimate in the online mode different parameters of the movement of cars and also work of drivers on runs – management style the car, observance of the set route, terms of loading and delivery of a load, etc.
  • Control of consumption of fuel is strengthened. Average fuel consumption on trunk tractors was cut from 33 l / 100км in 2014 up to 30 l / 100 by km in 2015 at operation of the equipment in difficult road conditions.
  • Management of finance of all group is optimized: approval of requests for a funds expenditure is accelerated, control of settlement with clients and contractors is strengthened, there was an opportunity in parts to calculate profitability of orders and work of vehicles. Data from the foreign accounting systems of group are flown down in uniform base "1C:Enterprise 8": bank documents and accounts, documents for rendering of services. Branches conduct payment under the legislation of the countries, at the same time labor costs are reduced by transfer of financial data in head office, errors in calculations are minimized. Besides, a system helps to accrue quickly the payroll to drivers taking into account flexible rates and correction factors and also features of payroll calculation in the countries where offices work.
