The Novardis integrator and Ware Center company completed an implementation project of a corporate portal on the SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Portal 7.3 platform.
Project Background
Process of acceptance and processing orders from wholesale buyers at customer company did not work in the automatic mode – there was no possibility of the centralized control, including on completion dates of requests, communication between managers of the company and buyers was performed by e-mail and telephone communication.
"Continuous improvement of speed and customer service quality – one of key tasks of our company, and creation of a corporate portal – one more step in this direction. The decision on the choice of SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Portal as the platform is made on the basis of the held consultations and meetings with the companies using solutions on this platform. The idea to use this solution for work, including with wholesale buyers, came after acquaintance to the functionality directed to work with suppliers. We did not meet earlier similar solution anywhere", – Igor Vasyukov, the chief executive of Ware Center company told.
Implementing solution was performed by Novardis company.
"The functionality of SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Portal simplifies work with wholesale buyers and suppliers and does processes of creation, approval and order confirmation by less labor-intensive. Besides, all SAP products are initially integrated among themselves that allows to simplify considerably implementation of a new solution in the existing IT landscape, – Mark Roytenberg, the director of the Moscow office of Novardis company emphasized. – The adjusted team work of employees Ware of the Center and specialists of Novardis and also their qualification allowed to implement the solution, observing the delivered terms, despite remoteness of the customer from head office of Novardis company".
Project Results
"Now we have a uniform point of information and economic exchange. A part of transactions which were executed by purchasing managers in the manual mode earlier are automated now. If earlier the order could be approved week and even more, then now — at most three days. Moreover, we had an opportunity to organize approval of the order directly between the wholesale buyer and the supplier. We expect that it will help us to increase the number of wholesale transactions with additional orders four times and also to increase loyalty of wholesale buyers and image of our company in general.", – Igor Vasyukov, the chief executive of Ware Center company noted.
Further the company is going to add the tools allowing to improve work of partners with the portal. For example, to place on it the commodity directory, to make automatic calculation of retrobonuses, to integrate the portal with the system of exchange of electronic documents.
