Russian "Svarmatik" began supplying industrial robots for welding

Customers: Galich Truck Crane Plant

Construction and Construction Materials Industry

Contractors: Swarmatik

Project date: 2025/06

The Russian company Svarmatik has begun supplying industrial robots for automated welding to enterprises in the engineering and metalworking sectors. The equipment was put into commercial operation in December 2024.

According to "Made with Us" at the end of June 2025, new robotic welding centers were installed at the Galich Truck Crane Plant. Modern equipment is designed to assemble key components of crane-manipulator installations and truck cranes with a lifting capacity of 25-35 tons.

The main complex is a 6-axis welding robot with a rotary frame. The device is additionally equipped with axles 7, 8 and 9, which ensures high accuracy of positioning of parts.

To ensure safety and cleanliness of air, an industrial exhaust system is installed in the working area. This allows you to maintain the necessary working conditions and comply with sanitary production standards.

With the help of new robots, rotary columns, outrigger beams and boxes of telescopic boom sections are processed. The latter require particularly accurate and reliable welding, since these connections directly affect the safety of crane operation.

The introduction of robotic welding centers brought the production process to a fundamentally new level of automation. The system provides automation of up to 90-100% of welding operations at the enterprise.

The new equipment significantly reduced welding time. If manual welding previously required 40 - 60 minutes, then the robotic system performs the same operations in 18 - 25 minutes.

Automation has improved the accuracy, repeatability and consistent quality of seams. Robots eliminate human factors and errors by digitally programming all welding parameters.[1]
