Customers: White Castle

Food industry

Contractors: Miso Robotics
Product: Miso Robot on Rail (ROAR)

Project date: 2020/10

At the end of October, 2020 after the successful pilot program the fast food chain of White Castle began to replace cooks with robots for increase in efficiency and more strict observance of sanitary standards during a pandemic. These robots are developed by Miso Robotics company and already appeared in ten kitchens of network.

Flippy Robot-on-a-Rail (ROAR) represents the new version of the robot who is capable to cook fast food thanks to the built-in sensors and intellectual monitoring. At the same time Flippy reduces the frequency of contacts of the person with food in the course of its preparation, thereby reducing risk of infection of COVID-19. Production speed can be controlled to maximize efficiency of kitchen and to reduce waiting time. On average the robot can prepare up to 360 portions a day.
