Russian Post and Wildberries signed the agreement on cooperation on the goods delivery in Russia and abroad

The Russian Post reported on November 12, 2020 that together with Wildberries agreed about cooperation in delivery of orders in Russia and abroad.

The relevant agreement was signed the CEO of Russian Post Maxim Akimov and the founder and the CEO of Wildberries Tatyana Bakalchuk.

Cooperation in delivery and issue of orders in departments of Russian Post became key aspect of the agreement. Wildberries actively develops network of points of issue of orders – as at the expense of own points, and partner. Only in 2020 the number offline - points of the Russian online retailer grew by 4 times to 27,000. Thanks to partnership the number of points of issue will continue to grow actively.

In EEU member countries (Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan) in which Wildberries actively works, the Russian Post will deliver orders of the company to the partners – local mail administrations, and they can be taken away in departments of a mail service. And in the countries of Europe Mail will help to organize delivery both to departments, and to the client's door. Also it will render the companies of a custodial service and a complete set of orders by forces of the subsidiary company in Germany – RusPost GmbH.

In addition, the Russian Post and Wildberries will work together on easing of regulatory requirements to exporters of goods and simplification of procedures of a customs clearance and declaration of goods in the Russian Federation and EEU that will allow the Russian exporters to get competitive advantage in global market of the international Internet trade.

Thanks to our cooperation orders of Wildberries can be received in a number of regions where the online retailer is going to leave and also in the countries of Europe and EEU where it already works. Development of Wildberries in the new markets will also happen in partnership with Mail, – the CEO of JSC Russian Post Maxim Akimov says.

Since 2020 we actively develop partner logistics and partner points of issue together with the Russian business, and are glad to the beginning of cooperation with such large player as Russian Post. Thanks to geography of presence of Mail issue of orders, first of all, in the small localities of Russia where retail is poorly developed that will open for their inhabitants access to delivery of millions of goods will be organized. Cooperation at the international level with Russian Post will allow to strengthen the export direction of the Wildberries online platform: only in 10 months 2020 the export turnover of her sellers grew by 89% up to 17.1 billion rubles, 40% make sales of the Russian goods of them. The products through us for November, 2020 are exported by 24 thousand companies and entrepreneurs, - told the founder and the CEO of Wildberries Tatyana Bakalchuk.
