Content

The IT company took part in creation at the National research Moscow state construction university of a hardware and software system for the solution of research, educational and practical tasks of monitoring and intellectual management of consumption of energy resources in modern buildings.

Start

During the program of development of university the decision - to create in the MGSU new educational and laboratory body a modern complex of monitoring and intellectual systems management of consumption of energy resources of the building which would allow to expand technically and technology information infrastructure and the original project and test scientific and educational platform of laboratory of intelligent systems, technologies and automatic equipment in construction (ISTAS) is made. This complex was going to be involved in researches and educational process for creation, the analysis and practical application of techniques of intelligent systems of energy management on models of objects and processes, operation of life support systems of buildings.

According to the results of an open tender the contractor of an important part of works on creation of a complex selected the IT company which already successfully proved on pilot projects on energy efficiency including from MGSU. At protection of technical specifications specialists of IT provided expert evaluation of technical, economic and social feasibility of equipment of objects the automated control system for the building.

Solution

Based on the equipment and the software of the domestic and foreign companies (Janitza Electronics, Beckhoff, ICP DAS, Esylux, Carat, Oventrop, Wonderware, Keepware, etc.) and also developments of corporate department, the modern automated system of monitoring and intellectual management of consumption of energy resources, including the following subsystems is created:

  • subsystem of collection of information about parameters of quality and electricity consumption on the main inputs, distribution, floor frames of power supply
  • subsystem of intellectual automatic control of lighting of premises (audiences, departments) and corridors, integrated with a subsystem of technical accounting of electricity consumption
  • subsystem of monitoring of climatic parameters, heatconsumption and optimum control of heat supply of premises in the building
  • subsystem of accounting of consumption of cold and hot water
  • single technology network of a system
  • the situational center of power efficiency of the university, the remote automated jobs of the chief power engineer and technology specialists
  • educational and laboratory complexes.

In iron

In the building about 100 cabinets of automatic equipment, management and accounting in which the controller and metering equipment, measuring current transformers and tension, local panel board touchpads, the executive puskoreguliruyushchy equipment is installed are mounted. On engineering networks and in premises heat meters, sensors of noise, presence, an illumination level, temperature are installed. In general the management system and monitoring covers 70 educational and laboratory audiences, premises of departments, corridors and halls. All arriving information on the status of subsystems, given about consumption of energy resources gathers and analyzed in real time in the situational center of energy efficiency of MGSU.

For the solution of analytical tasks in university for the first time in Russia the analytical system of energy efficiency of CEM (Corporate Energy Management) constructed based on SCADA Intouch the American corporation Invensys Wonderware and intended for the systems of industrial automation, visualization, management of technology processes and dispatching control is implemented. SCADA system is integrated with the intelligent system of accounting of energy resources developed by partners and allows to control hundreds of parameters in real time, to archive information, to build diagrams and reports. Information is saved and processed on two redundant servers and output to the LED screen with the diagonal of 1.5 m. In electropanel board the touchpads displaying technology information on quality and the current parameters of consumption and work of power supply systems are mounted.

Opinion

"Modern buildings as the main consumers of energy resources, should have in the territory rather advanced automatic equipment which in real time controls all necessary parameters and supports comfortable conditions, including energy efficiency of the building, − Andrey Anatolyevich Volkov, the vice rector, the corresponding member of the Russian academy of architecture and construction sciences, the Dr.Sci.Tech., professor, the research supervisor of the Center of information systems and intelligent automatic equipment in construction notes. − Creating such object based on the latest technologies, we aimed to construct in our university practical expert center in the field of intellectual buildings and energy efficiency. I think that we managed it. The implemented automatic management system the building is capable to save from 15 to 35% of the consumed energy resources already today. For example, except 30% of economy on lighting, feature of the project is also noticeably low cost of operation of the building in general that reduces an insurance value of an object and increases reliability of the engineering systems".
