The Transtelecom company announced on August 16, 2017 Yandex.Money providing service of high-speed Internet access to the Russian service of electronic payments. The communication channel will be used by capacity of 5 Gbps for ensuring payments on the Internet.

The volume of online payments actively grows in Russia, daily in Yandex.Money more than 15 thousand new e-wallets are registered. Respectively, our needs for qualitative infrastructure and reliable Internet access increase. 11 large providers to whom high requirements, including for uninterrupted operation of communication, guarantee speed, existence of protection against DDoS attacks and the round-the-clock technical support were imposed participated in our auction. The offer of a TTK was recognized optimal on price relation and service qualities — Dmitry Kruglov, the Chief information officer of Yandex.Money told.

Terms of the contract

Within the agreement signed between Transtelecom and NPO Yandex.Money according to the results of open auction, the telecom operator within five years will provide to the client an Internet access channel capacity not less than 5 Gbps.

Connection of a system Yandex.Money to network of Transtelecom will be organized in Moscow on the platform MSK-IX — the point of exchange of Internet traffic, largest in Russia.

Such innovative companies as Yandex.Money — among them. Since 2014 a TTK provides to service of electronic payments a virtual channel of communication between Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod, since 2016 its speed is increased from 50 to 100 Mbps. We are glad to expand our cooperation — Alexander Dubinin, the Head of Department of business development in the business and state market of Transtelecom company said.
