Yandex will digitize documents on ElarSkan

2024: ElarScan A2-800R and ElarScan A2-600KS50 Delivery

The company began to use domestic digital equipment to create electronic copies of archival materials - three planetary scanners with built-in smart software "ScanImage" were supplied to Yandex LLC.

Two planetary scanning complexes ElarScan A2-800R and the planetary scanning complex ElarScan A2-600KS50 will serve to digitize Yandex documents. The ElarScan A2-800R model is equipped with an industrial high-quality camera, which will allow Yandex employees to scan documents with high definition, including small print, valuable originals and various illustrations, receiving digital copies of increased accuracy. ElarScan A2-600KS50 is equipped with a specialized deep cradle for scanning stitched documents up to 50 cm thick, in any physical condition, and, among other things, with incomplete disclosure.

All planetary scanners are equipped with smart software "ScanImage," which in the background automatically performs a number of functions, reducing the number of manual operations and operator labor costs. The developers of ElarScan have implemented functions and algorithms based on in ScanImage artificial intelligence- as a result, performance and speed of digitization have increased, and many operations are now performed without direct human participation.
