2024: Automation of production of components and accessories for vehicles based on "1C:ERP"

Yazaki Volga LLC is a dynamically developing company specializing in the design and production of automotive harnesses and wires for the Russian automotive industry. The main activity of the company is the production of components and accessories for vehicles.

The company is a leader in the production of harnesses and wires for the Russian automotive industry, is part of the large international corporation Yazaki Corporation (Japan). The corporation employs approximately 250,000 employees in 45 countries worldwide ( as of May 2025). Yazaki is a wide range of products in the world markets of automotive systems and climate control systems. In Russia, the company has been operating since 2012 and is located in the Gorodetsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod region. Yazaki Volga LLC has extensive experience working with such automakers as AvtoVAZ JSC, including production for Granta, Vesta, Iskra cars.

In 2023, the company decided to switch to a new accounting system that would combine all business processes of the enterprise. To manage the business, the enterprise used several accounting systems based on "1C," accounting was scattered. The reason for the transition to the new system was the need to obtain operational management information for the company's management to make effective and timely decisions, as well as to cover all the company's contours and processes in a single system.

The main goals of automation have been determined for the project:

From a business perspective:

  • Bring business processes to modern requirements.
  • Increase the speed of response to changes in the external environment (especially important when working in the EU market).

In terms of functionality:

  • Automate all management and regulated accounting.
  • Implement the production dispatching unit.
  • Generate accounting and tax reports automatically from the system.

After analyzing the offered software products, the choice was made on the solution 1C:ERP Enterprise Management 2 (hereinafter 1C:ERP), "which meets all the requirements, and also has the support of Russian legislation. A new round of information space development in the company was necessary for managing regulatory reference information, combining accounting, tax and warehouse accounting in one system. The introduction of a unified system was important, both to maintain the current state and for further development. With its advanced functionality 1C:ERP Enterprise Management competes with global counterparts of ERP-class systems.

By implementing the Enterprise Management 1C:ERP, you can:

  • Instantly access reports.
  • Monitor the work of subdivisions.
  • Manage assets and resources.
  • Reduce costs and minimize losses.

The implementation was carried out by the staff of IT specialists of Yazaki Volga LLC with subsequent support by 1C: April Software, which supports the software product, provides consulting support, and refines the solution algorithms.

Currently, the following units have been put into operation:

  4. Personnel accounting.
  5. Manage Cash.
  6. Treasury.
  7. Manage settlements.
  8. Manage customer and supplier relationships.
  9. Asset management.
  10. Manage sales, plan sales.
  11. Purchasing and inventory management, purchasing planning.
  12. Calculate the cost of production.
  13. Quality management.
  14. Volume scheduling.
  15. Marketing.

The system was put into operation in 2024. In total, 239 jobs were automated in the system.

During the project, the following results were achieved:

  • Improving the quality of both management and regulated accounting.
  • Transparent cost calculation with proper accounting of all areas.
  • A unified information environment for all departments.
  • Efficiency of data acquisition by all departments.
  • Planning of procurement, production, budgeting and pricing.
  • Automating routine tasks reduces the time it takes to complete operations and reduces errors
  • Strengthening consistency in the work of units, improving interaction between them.
