In "The Yeysk seaport" audit of SAM Cloud Ready is booked

Announced Softline in June, 2017 project completion of SAM Cloud Ready which is carried out for the customer of the SMB-segment - seaport in the city of Yeysk of Krasnodar Krai. As a result the company received recommendations about development of IT infrastructure using cloud solutions.

The customer needed to select the mail solution providing protection against spam and malware. Different options of software including a subscription to a cloud service of Exchange Online were considered. As the partner the Softline company having examination in the field of project implementation according to the analysis of IT infrastructure including Software Asset Management - SAM was attracted.

Experts of Softline suggested to estimate readiness of IT services of the customer for transition to cloud computing within the SAM Cloud Ready project. Specialists inspected 62 PCs and 22 servers. It was revealed that the port purchases licenses as on corporate channels, and at retail, and the number of licenses for such PC park was rather extensive. At the same time except mail at the customer the need for such services as calendars, protection of corporate boxes against malware, a possibility of instant messaging was created. But there was no opportunity to update the equipment that all of them correctly functioned.

Having generalized the acquired information, specialists of Softline offered the customer instead of the separate solution Exchange Online to consider corporate connection to cloud services of Microsoft Office 365. The packet includes tools for joint work and cloud service of e-mail filtering Microsoft Exchange Online Protection.

The solution can be purchased according to the Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) license program. It has no minimum order size that allows to purchase from one license Office 365, and the possibility of monthly payment of services includes. Also cloud solutions can be purchased within the scheme of licensing of MPSA which is available for the customer. All this will allow the organization to cut down expenses on licensing, having provided personnel with the services necessary for daily work.
