The IT created engineering infrastructure of DPC for Yugoriya insurance company

The IT company completed the project on creation of a complex of the information and engineering systems of the Data processing center at head office of the state insurance company "Yugoriya" in Khanty-Mansiysk.

Due to implementation of new information systems and expansion of the park of technical means load of the engineering equipment at head office of Yugoriya insurance company significantly increased. Therefore the company management made the decision on creation of a modern complex of the information and engineering systems.

Based on the held competition the right to creation of engineering infrastructure of DPC was acquired by IT company. These works are a part of the complex project on creation of new DPC therefore preparation of infrastructure of the premises of DPC for the subsequent placement in it computing, telecommunication equipment and storage systems was a main objective.

The project executed by IT started in February, 2009 and consisted of three large stages: choice of solutions and preparation of the design estimates; supply of equipment; mounting and balancing and commissioning.

In a work progress specialists of IT set the whole complex of systems and services, necessary for effective functioning of DPC, such as:

• structured cabling system of ITSCS
• no break power supply system of DPC
• diesel generator set
• system of an electric lighting
• conditioning system of the premises of DPC and UPS
• system of automatic gas fire fighting
• system of raised floors
• system of kabelprovod (trays).

Bykovsky Igor, director of the department of technology infrastructure and equipment of Yugoriya GSC: "As a result of creation of a complex of the information and engineering systems for new DPC we were provided with a number of the advantages necessary for more effective company performance in general and IT-divisions in particular. Among them — the continuity of providing information services, a possibility of further growth of the technical park, reduction of a downtime of the equipment in case of an emergency situation, cost reduction on operation of DPC, etc.".
