UniTile produces 10 thousand types of ceramic tiles, porcelain stoneware, decorative elements and dry building mixtures. The holding includes three production sites in different regions of the Russian Federation, two divisions for the extraction and processing of raw materials, a network of commercial representative offices throughout Russia and the CIS countries, warehouse complexes and a logistics center.


In 2007, the holding occupied almost a quarter of the market. Its share in the 2007 ceramic tile and porcelain stoneware market was 22%. If we consider the share of UniTile holding separately in the ceramic tile market and separately in the ceramic granite market, then in 2007 it amounted to 17% and 26%, respectively. 2025: Former Sibur top manager buys stake in Unitile The company was estimated at ₽6 billion

LLC Plitexpert"," co-owned by the former vice-president Sibur of Vitaly Baranov and Katarina Konks, acquired 5% in Unitile Holding LLC (Unitile brand). This deal became known in early January 2025.

According to Kommersant, 70% of Plitexpert belongs to Proxima Capital Group (PCG) Vladimir Yermoshin and Vladimir Tatarchuk, 20% to Katarina Konks, 10% to Vitaly Baranov. The deal became part of an agreement to sell the Quadro Decor business holding in the fall of 2024.

Nadezhda Korableva, head of the Tile department of Lehman Pro, points to the growing demand for large-format plates, associated with modern design trends that provide for the creation of large smooth surfaces with a minimum number of seams.

Fyodor Mukhodanov, senior lawyer at Melling, Voitishkin and Partners, emphasizes that transactions with payment of shares in the buying company account for about 5% of the total number of mergers and acquisitions in Russia. According to him, this practice is more common in foreign markets.

Forward Legal lawyer Maxim Ignatov considers the possibility of creating a full-fledged joint venture as one of the goals of the transaction, assuming agreements on the distribution of responsibilities for financing and project management.[1]

2024: Purchase of cladding tile manufacturer Quadro Decor

One of the largest manufacturers of facing tiles and porcelain stoneware in Russia, Unitile, acquired its competitor, Quadro Decor. The deal was completed in September 2024. Unitile, which ranks second in terms of ceramic production in Russia, bought 100% of the shares of Quadro Holding LLC, the parent company of Quadro Decor LLC.
