2023: Record net profit - 17.11 billion rubles
According to the results of work in 2023, Ural Airlines recorded a record net profit of 17.11 billion rubles against 13.5 billion rubles in profit a year earlier. The carrier's revenue during this time increased by 24.2% - from 89.37 billion to 110.98 billion rubles. Such data in accordance with Russian accounting standards (RAS) were released in early April 2024.
According to Interfax, citing materials from Ural Airlines, in 2023 the company's cost of sales amounted to 91.06 billion rubles, an increase of 24.2% compared to a year ago. Gross profit increased 1.5 times (to 19.91 billion rubles), profit from sales - 1.7 times (to 14.2 billion rubles). Pre-tax profit in 2023 rose by almost 30% and exceeded 22.8 billion rubles.
According toAs of the end of 2023, Ural Airlines' accounts payable amounted to 12.58 billion rubles, which is half as much as similar debts a year earlier (28.79 billion rubles). Accounts receivable during this time, on the contrary, increased - from 7.84 billion to 14.54 billion rubles.
Other income and expenses of Ural Airlines in 2023 decreased 1.9 times to 21.9 billion and 16.19 billion rubles, respectively. It also follows from the materials of the airline that in 2023 it received state subsidies in the amount of 3.598 billion rubles, while in 2022 their size was 11.764 billion rubles.
The agency recalls that the government allocated subsidies to Russian airlines for partial compensation of expenses for domestic flights in April-October 2022. Rosaviatsia approved the application of Ural Airlines for 8.9 billion rubles. In addition, almost 2.7 billion rubles were allocated to the company as compensation for spending on flights within the Russian Federation in November 2022 - March 2023.[1]

2024: Appointment of Kirill Skuratov as CEO of Ural Airlines

2023: Landing of a passenger plane in a field near Novosibirsk
Early in the morning Moscow time on September 12, 2023, the Ural Airlines Airbus A320 airliner flying from Sochi to Omsk had problems. The pilots decided to make an emergency landing and landed on the ground in a rural area near the village of Kamenka near Novosibirsk.
None of the 159 passengers and 6 crew members on board were injured - all were successfully evacuated and taken to temporary accommodation centers. The plane was damaged, but, fortunately, there were no fires and destruction of the fuselage.
Four years ago, a similar episode occurred when the pilots of the Airbus A321 of the same Ural Airlines urgently landed the plane on a plantation in the Moscow region. Then, in the same way, victims were avoided, and what happened was called "a miracle in a cornfield."

The geography of the airline's flights is expanding annually and has more than 120 destinations. The interests of Ural Airlines are represented in 30 cities of Russia, near and far abroad. Since October 2011, the airline first began operating flights from Chelyabinsk to Vienna, Harbin and Dubai. This season, the Ural Airlines emirate operates flights from 8 more cities - Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Samara, Kazan, Ufa, Mineralnye Vody, Krasnodar, Nizhny Novgorod. Fleet
The company's air fleet consists of 22 aircraft (as of December 26, 2011). Previously, four Il-86s, four Tu-154Ms (in 2011), eight Tu-154Bs and three An-24s were decommissioned.
Since 2012, there are plans to start operating long-range wide-body vehicles such as the Airbus A330. According to the airline's management estimates, in 2012 Ural Airlines will have 27 aircraft, of which nine are already A-321 aircraft [5]. In accordance with the long-term development plan of Ural Airlines, by 2015 more than thirty foreign aircraft will be in operation.

In addition, Ural Airlines is a member of the IATA Clearing House (ICH), which allows the airline to use the global settlement system. The airline is also a party to the Multilateral Interline Agreement (MITA). Participation in the activities of this organization allows airlines to significantly expand the scope of their cooperation with their colleagues in different countries of the world. The MITA apparatus is purposefully engaged in finding the most suitable partners. At the initial level of establishing contacts, company offers are automatically sent to all MITA member air carriers. In case of a positive response, MITA employees inform the company - the author of the request. Next, direct contacts of specialists from both airlines begin.
