History

2022: Expansion of the equipment fleet to increase the production of engineering parts

The resident of the special economic zone (SEZ) "Technopolice Moscow" - the company "Additive Engineering" - expanded the fleet of equipment to increase the production of engineering parts for industrial enterprises, including as part of import substitution. This was announced on December 12, 2022 by the head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of the city of Moscow, which is part of the Complex of Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations of the capital, Vladislav Ovchinsky.

Responding to the need for import substitution in the industrial sector, the resident of the capital's special economic zone expanded his production line with new equipment for 3D printing - photopolymer printers. About 27 million rubles were spent on their purchase. Thus, the company will be able to ensure the growing demand of enterprises from various industries for engineering parts, for example, in case products for electrical equipment, some of which are absent from the Russian market. First of all, this applies to the spheres of metalworking, machine and aircraft engineering, - added Vladislav Ovchinsky.

Additive technologies ensure rapid and cost-effective production. For example, the manufacturing time of one impeller - a screw installed inside a pipe - is reduced from four months to three days, and the cost of its production is reduced by 20 times.

In addition, three-dimensional printing allows you to create high-quality domestic analogues of foreign engineering parts in a short time. Even large products can be made on 3D equipment. They are divided into several parts, and later assembled into a single whole.

In addition to meeting the needs of the industrial sector, the company plans to increase the production of blanks for eliners - dental caps to correct the bite. First, three-dimensional shooting of the jaw is performed and several of its models are created at each stage of correction, including the final one. Then the entire set is printed, on the basis of which the eliners are made. It takes only 12 hours to create one batch of blanks from 200 models.

{{quote 'The company received the status of a resident of the special economic zone of Moscow in 2020. As of December 2022, it has a large set of tools for performing tasks in all industries industries. The fleet of equipment of the enterprise has 18. The 3D printers company has already invested over 100 million in the development of its production at the Pechatniki site, - rubles said the general director of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ. Start-up of metal powder production for 3D printing

A resident of the SEZ "Technopolice" Moscow, "the company" Additive Engineering, "launched a service - laboratory production of metal powders in a small volume for 3D printing, Technopolice said on November 26, 2020, according to General Director Gennady Degtev.

For companies engaged in 3D metal printing, in the capital's special economic zone, it became possible to receive laboratory samples of metal powder. To do this, the SEZ resident launched equipment - a laboratory atomizer, which, unlike industrial devices, processes small metal blanks and allows additive industries to save up to 70% of raw materials during research and implementation work. The equipment rare for this industry installed in the SEZ strengthens the position of the capital's special economic zone not only in the field of innovation, but also in the field of resource-saving technologies, "said Gennady Degtev.

The production of metal powder is based on ultrasonic atomization, which allows the production of powders with any particle size.

{{quote "The installed atomizer can produce up to 0.3 liters of powder per hour, it is a compact system where atomization occurs. As a raw material, a metal rod with a diameter of up to 10 mm or wires with a diameter of up to 2 mm can be used - this is such a small volume of raw material and saves resources. Such equipment and similar service are absolutely unique. Usually, atomizers are huge machines that require one-time loading of more than ten kilograms of raw materials for processing, "said Ashkhen Hovsepyan, CEO of Additive Engineering. }}

The Additive Engineering company, which opened production at the Pechatniki site in early 2020, received the status of a resident of the Technopolice Moscow special economic zone in August 2020. Until 2029, the company's total investment in the development of 3D products will amount to about 100 million rubles. In the next 10 years, the company plans to occupy almost 5% of the Russian market for additive technologies.

Plans to invest about 100 million rubles in the development of the production of 3D products

The Additive Engineering company, which opened production at the Pechatniki site in early 2020, received the status of a resident of the Technopolice Moscow special economic zone. Technopolice announced this on September 17, 2020. Until 2029, the company's total investment in the development of 3D products will amount to about 100 million rubles, said Alexander Prokhorov, head of the Investment and Industrial Policy Department.

3D printed products can be used in a variety of fields, from automotive and foundry to aerospace and medicine.

As of September 2020, the company prints about 170 thousand cubic centimeters of 3D products per month. The status of a SEZ resident and the presence of all available preferences will give the company the opportunity to increase capacity by almost 180 times, to 30 million cubic centimeters per year. The company has already invested over 50 million rubles in the project and plans to invest about 45 million more by 2029, as well as create 40 additional jobs, "said the head of the department.

The company has been located on the site in Pechatniki since the beginning of 2020 and covers an area of about 700 square meters. During the pandemic, the company promptly modified production. The company launched the manufacture of valves for ventilators printed on a 3D printer and supplied them to medical institutions in the city. Potential customers of products are state corporations, concerns, commercial and industrial enterprises and leading universities in Russia and the CIS, - said Gennady Dogtev.

Industrial enterprises are increasingly using 3D printing in the production of components and working tools. Our company uses seven types of production technologies, differing in application methods. In some cases, 3D-printed components are much cheaper than traditional ones. Also, due to the possibility of manufacturing a product of any complexity and high-speed printing with extreme accuracy, the production time of products is significantly reduced, "explained Ashkhen Hovsepyan, General Director of Additive Engineering LLC.
