2023: Oil highway bought the Karavaev Brothers Culinary Shop

In March 2023, the fuel company Petrohighway"" bought the network of cafes "Culinary Shop of the Karavaev Brothers." Financial terms of the transaction are not disclosed.

The general director of INFOLine-analytics, Mikhail Burmistrov, in a conversation with RBC, estimated the sale of the Karavaev Brothers Culinary Shop at 100 million rubles, admitting that "in the current conditions" the price could have been lower. According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, until March 23, 2023, the owners of the network were Evgeny Katsenelson and Igor Moiseev. The company TD NM LLC (Neftmahistral) belongs to its general director Alexander Erastov and Natalia Erastova on a parity basis.

The cost of the cafe chain is estimated at 100 million rubles

The appearance of the Brothers Karavaev brand in the Neftmahistral gas station network will attract additional traffic to our gas stations, "a representative of the fuel company explained to RBC.

According to him, the brand is "in demand, recognizable and loved by residents of Moscow," so the new owner also plans to launch a loyalty program and organize delivery. The acquisition of the Karavaev Brothers Culinary Shop business in Neftmahistral was associated with the company's strategy for developing the catering market and increasing the share of non-fuel sales in the revenue structure "by creating a high-quality product - delicious food and a service for food and recreation at the Neftmahistral gas station at an affordable price."

The Karavaev Brothers Culinary Shop operates only in Moscow, more than 40 establishments have been opened within the network (by the end of March 2023). They are lines of distribution of cooking and baking with a coffee machine.

Oil Highway is developing a restaurant project at the Magburger gas station, and is also producing products and coffee under the Gurmanika brand. In addition, the company planned to open another 60 points of the cafe under the Gurmanika brand, but already separately from gas stations.^[1]

2022: Co-founder Vladimir Lyakishev found dead
