2021: Raising $350 million investment, estimated at $3 billion

At the end of February 2021, the Calendar meeting planning service, which allows you to coordinate the schedule of several people, raised $350 million and reached an estimate of $3 billion. The main investors were OpenView Venture Partners and Iconiq Capital.

Calendar is an easy-to-use planning system that helps users schedule appointments without e-mail. The software helps end users select available meeting intervals and conduct business meetings using a priority planning platform. One of the key features of the application and its growing popularity is its ability to integrate with several popular calendar applications. Calendar works seamlessly with Google, Office 365, and Outlook calendars and apps such as Salesforce, Stripe, PayPal, Google Analytics, GoToMeeting, and Zapier.

Calendar, a meeting planning service with developers in Ukraine, raised $350 million with an estimate of $3 billion

The CEO and founder of Calendar Top Awotona from Nigeria found developers in Kiev, where he arrived in the midst of a political crisis and mass protests in early 2014. Avotons himself and the Atlanta Ventures fund offered an initial investment of $550 000.

It was my personal needs that inspired me to create this application, "Avotona explained. - At that time I didn't think about opening business. I just tried to hold a meeting, but could not agree on the schedule of participants and found myself buried under a pile of emails.

When Avotona realized that there were no applications in the market to organize meetings with 10 or 20 people, he decided to use this idea for a startup.[1]
