2023: TPS Real estate bought the Columbus shopping center

In early June 2023, the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) agreed on the petition of TPS Real Estate Holding Limited to purchase 100% of the shares in the authorized capital of MIRS. The latter owns the Columbus shopping and entertainment center in the south of Moscow, and also operates in the real estate rental market of the Russian capital.

The official notification of the FAS says that within the framework of the agreement, TPS Real Estate acquires the right to exercise the functions of the executive body of the facility. This structure implements commercial projects in the field of retail real estate both in Russia and abroad. According to the Vedomosti newspaper, TPS real estate belongs to the trust of the families of businessmen Alexander Ponomarenko and Alexander Skorobogatko, as well as the daughter of billionaire Arkady Rotenberg Lilia. Columbus Shopping Center

Opened in 2015, Columbus is one of the largest and most modern shopping centers in Moscow. Its total area is approximately 278 thousand square meters, rentable - 135 thousand square meters. There are about 300 shops, more than 20 restaurants, fast food and coffee shops in the center.

The real estate rental market within the geographical boundaries of Moscow is highly competitive. Calculated on the basis of Rosstat data for 2022, the total share of transaction participants in this market is 0.9%. According to the service, the announced deal will not affect the state of competition in the commodity market under consideration, the FAS said in a statement.

According to Vedomosti, the cost of the object can be 40-45 billion rubles. The owner of the asset is the main shareholder of the PIK group Sergey Gordeev. In addition to Columbus, Gordeev's structures also own the Salaris, Paveletskaya Plaza shopping centers and the Kuzminki Mall under construction[1]
