Children's world launches children's clothing chain based on purchased manufacturer Reima

In June 2023, it became known about the renaming of the former Russian "daughter" of the Finnish clothing manufacturer Reima after its sale to Detsky Mir. The new name of the company is Lassie (legal entity - LLC Lassi), according to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities. Read more here.

On March 7, 2023, it became known about the sale of the Russian business of the Finnish manufacturer of children's clothing Reima. Among the co-owners of these assets was Detsky Mir - through DM Capital LLC, he owns a 25% stake.

According to Kommersant, citing data from the SPARK-Interfax system, the majority share (75%) of Reima LLC belongs to Valan Management JSC. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The general director of Infoline Analytics, Mikhail Burmistrov, believes that the company could receive at least 1.5 billion rubles.

In Russia, Reima was represented by two brands - Reima and Lassie, they worked with large wholesale clients, including Detsky Mir, Kant and others.[1]

2022: Work stoppage in Russia

Reima stopped working in Russia in March 2022. In the same month, seven Reima stores closed. Franchise outlets continued to sell goods for several more months.
