Inclusion in FastReport Mono of 2020.1 components of creation of diagrams and availability in Linux

On March 17, 2020 the Fast Reports company announced a release of the next version of FastReport Mono - 2020.1.

In this version the component of creation of diagrams and charts is delivered together with podukty and is available in Linux.

The feature for the digital signature of the exported PDF documents is added.

+ currencies are added and governed conversion function of numbers at line

+ the feature to break lines of the table is added

- the error at which the table was transferred incorrectly is corrected

Exports

+ support of the PDF/A-1a standard in PDF export is added

- the printing error at layer-by-layer HTML-export is corrected if in the report there were sheets with landscape orientation of pages

- the error at multithreaded export to PDF is corrected

- the character spacing in PDF export is corrected

- the error at which export to EMF caused an exception is corrected

- display of objects with negative height/width at layer-by-layer export to Html is corrected

Compatibility with Red OS and Red Data Base

The companies "Fast Reports" and "RED SOFTWARE" signed the certificate on compatibility of the FastReport.Mono software product (production of Fast Reports) with operating system RED OS and DBMS Red Data Base (productions of RED SOFT). Results of testing confirmed correctness of work of products. On February 20, 2020 RedSoft reported about it.

2012: FastReports.Mono release

The Russian company Fast Report put in the spring of 2012 on the market the FastReports.Mono report generator created especially for the multiplatform Xamarin Mono development environment. It is the next step after the recent announcement of the version of FastReports FMX intended for work in MacOS.

The Xamarin Mono environment is widely used among software developers, but was up to this point almost deprived of a convenient method of structuring and data view. Now thanks to the Fast Report company which released the fast and compact FastReports.Mono report generator, developers in the environment of Xamarin Mono had an opportunity to use a complete arsenal of means on formation and visualization of reports, the acquaintance on other products of the company.

In particular, FastReports.Mono can be configured and adapt to any user requirements. Such flexibility due to use of the open code, presence of the visual designer of reports and the expanded architecture of the program is reached that, in turn, allows to connect additional objects and functions. Certainly, the generator gives an opportunity to receive the report in any required kind, whether it be just an output to the screen, printing or export to a set of formats.

At the same time FastReports.Mono supports all basic operation systems (MS Windows, Linux, MacOS) therefore there is no need to use virtual machines or to install suitable OS.

According to the CEO of FastReports company Mikhail Filippenko, the main focus in work is placed on cross-platform of applications: "We live in the multipolar world. It concerns also operating systems with which the business users demanding support from programmers work". Therefore creation of the product conforming to these requirements allows to reduce programming time and also to provide to the end user the tools which are not limited to one platform.
