2019: Release of a gaming chair in Russia

On November 27, 2019 the company Acer provided to Russia Predator Thronos with effect of complete immersion in game process. It is the game cabin for the most hardcore admirers of games equipped with three curved monitors Predator Z271U, the mechanism of opening/closing of a cabin and function of vibroreturn, a support for the keyboard and a mouse, modern PC Predator Orion 9000 in a top configuration and all peripheral devices, necessary for a comfortable game, from Predator line.

As noted in Acer, externally Predator Thronos looks as a cabin of the futuristic spaceship. The black color and aggressive lines characteristic of all Predator devices supplements the "alien" drawing of the configured RGB illumination on different elements of a chair and the console for monitors. The strong metal framework and quality of assembly provide high stability of all system, and soft imitation leather of a chair — comfort and convenience even during the long game sessions. Open a cabin, having lifted monitors and having removed a support for the keyboard and a mouse, it is possible clicking of one button on the panel located on a chair armrest. By means of the same panel the cabin or any of its elements opens separately and closed. One more button transfers Predator Thronos to the mode of zero gravitation Zero-G. In this mode the chair and the console with monitors deviate back by 140 degrees, and the support for legs is pushed forward, and the user falls almost into horizontal position. To strengthen immersion and to add to entertainments of realism, the chair is equipped with special motors which react to low frequencies of music and also explosions and loud sounds in games and movies, providing haptic feedback.

According to the producer, three Predator Z271U monitors are installed on consoles at once. Their 27-inch displays with almost frameless design merge in one curved screen which occupies all viewing field of the user and provides complete effect of presence. Monitors support resolution of WQHD (2560 x 1440 px.) also differ in the high frequency of updating of the screen in 144 Hz (165 Hz at acceleration), minimum response time of 1 ms and support of NVIDIA G-SYNC technology which provides smooth change of the personnel and lack of visual artifacts and breakthroughs of the image.

According to the statement of Acer, also "fittings" of the Predator Orion 9000 PC which is included in Predator Thronos delivery do not lag behind monitors. Processor IntelCore i9 9980XE, 128 GB of the DDR4 RAM and two NVIDIA GeForce video cards RTX 2080Ti from 11 GB of video memory will easily cope with modern games. Solid state drive The M.2 PCIe will help to load quickly a system and levels, and for storages a game collection and movies or music in the PC there was a place for hard drive the capacity of 3 Tb.

Predator Thronos is delivered with all periphery, necessary for games, including the Predator Aethon 500 keyboard with the selected keys for macroes, the Predator Galea 350 headset with support of space sounding and three operation modes (games, music and movies) and a mouse of Predator Cestus 510 from 16,000 DPI, removable panels and regulated weight. All component parts are equipped with the configured RGB illumination which can be synchronized with illumination of the PC body and all elements of a chair, emphasized in Acer.

As of November, 2019 the game chair of Predator Thronos can already be purchased at the price of 2,499,000 rubles.
