Alfa-Bank and Raketa.Fit: Payment fitness bracelet

The payment fitness bracelet - fitness bracelet serves as means of identification for visit of fitness club and the user of the debit card.

On August 3, 2017 Raketa.Fit company together with Alfa-Bank released the device replacing the bank card of the MasterCard PayPass system and means of identification for access to all clubs of Raketa.Fit network.

Raketa.Fit developers and Alfa-Bank for the first time managed to write customer information of network of fitness clubs, biometric information on the chip of the bank card and also to integrate it with all internal IT systems of club — from entrance tourniquets to locks and sunbeds. The existing IT solutions for fitness allow to use the data medium as means of payment only in the territory of club. We lift this limit and we give to our client full-fledged means of payment with which he can pay off anywhere. On integration of a fitness bracelet and the bank card at us about 4 months left. Thanks to development the bracelet remained almost weightless and convenient for clients. Its weight is only 7 grams. The bracelet is steady against temperature drops from +30 to −30, to moisture, water and other mechanical and thermal influences. It maintains visit of a sunbed. The bracelet does not cause allergic reaction.

The project is interesting that during creation of a bracelet we did not use ready-made solutions and each its part was thought up, made and tested especially for fitness club. In addition to the Raketa.Fit command, Yaroslav Rassadin, the industrial designer, one of creators of the Marussia supercar participated in the project. Such union allowed us to develop the gadget which conveniently sits on a hand, does not become wet in water, is elastic, compact and convenient for sport and at the same time looks stylish. In the near future in the gadget also function of the fitness tracker will be implemented. The project with Raketa.Fit network works on a pre-paid system and it will not be required to open the bank account. Clubmen of Raketa.Fit receive bracelets in use free of charge. In case of loss the user will have to pay recovery of a bracelet taking into account repeated registration in the IT system. The bracelet remains the property of fitness club.
