On July 17 Alfa-Bank announced an exit from Association of Russian Banks (ARB). The solution in bank was explained with "unsatisfactory work of the management" of association which, according to representatives of Alfa-Bank, at decision making ceased to consider the interests of members of ARB.

"The positions created in association now, outputs and estimates do not reflect real opinion of all market participants, undermine confidence and a business partnership between credit institutions, interfere them with constructive interaction and cooperation with the Bank of Russia and state bodies, said in the official statement of bank. — Often credit institutions are not recruited in preparation of the major documents defining activities of association. The stylistics of these documents sometimes contain inadmissible, in our opinion, formulations and charges which undermine the trusted relationships which developed in bank community".
Besides, as specified in Alfa-Bank, "the unreasonable criticism association of a number of legislative initiatives (for example, on proportional regulation of activity of credit institutions) and also activities of the Bank of Russia for cleaning of the banking market from unfair participants, interferes with growth of prestige of a banking system, customer confidence, development of the competition in financial market and leads to quality degradation of the rendered banking services".

On belief of bank representatives, responsibility for current situation is born by the president of association who as specified in financial institution, in the activity began to be guided by personal interests in many respects. However numerous proposals of members of association — credit institutions — about staff changes in the management of ARB and also about change of the principles of management were not heard.

Intend to select other format of interaction for the purpose of development of the banking sector of economy of the Russian Federation, representation of the interests before the Bank of Russia and state bodies from "Alphée Bank" and also developments of joint solutions on the interesting questions of banking activity and optimization of the legislation regulating activity of financial institutions.
