2023: In Khakassia, fraudsters sold an online appointment with doctors for 600 rubles

In January 2023, activists of the Popular Front in Khakassia stopped the activities of speculators who traded places in queues to doctors of polyclinics taking compulsory health insurance (compulsory medical insurance) policies. Social activists found that fraudsters, using an electronic record, occupied most of the places for reception, and offered a queue service on ad sites. For the release of one slot, they demanded from 400 to 600 rubles.

These people made visits for themselves. And after the residents of the republic, desperate to get an appointment with doctors, gave money to the swindlers, the entry was canceled and the ticket was handed over to the person who bought the visit, - revealed the essence of the fraudulent scheme in the "People's Front" on their page on "VKontakte."

According to the Telegram channel Baza, local residents complained that they could no longer get to the doctor: the electronic record opened at 15:00, but at the time of opening all the places were already occupied and they had to be bought out.

Activists suggest that fraudsters could collect up to 20 thousand rubles a day for their services. Law enforcement officers establish the circumstances and causes of the incident. The issue of initiating a criminal case is being considered.

For 14 days, 2330 and 1694 records were produced through the service, respectively. Thus, there are no technical errors blocking the ability to record, the Abakan prosecutor's office said.[1]
