2019: Representation of the Amplon MX UPS

On November 27, 2019 it became known that the Delta Electronics company announced changes in popular family of uninterruptible power supply units: the Amplon M series is succeeded by a series linearly - interactive Amplon MX devices with a power of 1.1, 2 or 3 kVA with standard battery life. These monoblock single-phase UPSes differ in purely sine signal output, high efficiency and a large number of communication interfaces. They are suitable both for floor installation, and for installation in racks of popular standard sizes.

Many producers try to expand a lineup with the devices adapted for specific needs of customers. Linearly - interactive UPSes, for example, are compatible to pulse power supplies of the IT equipment. At significantly lower price, efficiency at such UPSes is higher, than at seniors on a rank of models with double conversion of the electric power (online). It allows customers to reduce capital costs of uninterrupted operation of power supply, and to vendors — to increase business volume in difficult economic conditions. Amplon MX can be used at the enterprises of small and medium business or in branches of the large companies: in retail trade, the financial sector, in education and also on infrastructure facilities and in the state organizations. If the customer does not need the system constructed on online UPSes, exclusive on degree of protection of a coupled load, and opportunities offlayn-IBP to him is not enough any more, then linearly - interactive devices will provide reliable protection of personal computers, cash desks, information racks, modems, routers and other equipment not sensitive to short (to 10 ms) to interruptions of power supply in switching time on a power supply from batteries and back, commented Vladislav Solotsky, the head on work with key clients

Differ from predecessors of the device of series MX in higher efficiency: in the normal mode it is 98% for the 1.1 and 2 kVA and 98.5% models for model on 3 kVA. In the mode of automatic control of tension (AVR) indicators are slightly lower: 95.5% for the 1.1 kVA and 96.5% model — for models on 2 and 3 kVA. The output electrical power factor for all models of a series makes 0.9, and battery life at an overall load — 3 - 4 minutes (at loading of 50% — 10 minutes). The microprocessor controller allows the Amplon MX UPS to detect quickly anomalies of an entrance power supply and to include in the answer the corresponding chain. The rotary LCD panel provides convenient access to all settings at any option of installation — rack or floor. The intellectual control of batteries reduces recharge time, increases service life of accumulators and allows to start their testing according to the schedule or is forced. All devices of a series support control of programmable groups of output sockets and hot swap of batteries (access for service is provided in front — it is not required to take the UPS from a cabinet for this purpose).
