EcoStruxure Micro Data Center is completely integrated solution for peripheral calculations which allows to optimize energy consumption in outlets and to increase fault tolerance of IT systems.

As of October, 2019 micro DPC Schneider Electric EcoStruxure integrates uninterruptible power supply unit (UPS) with cloud management tools and remote monitoring for stable work of IT systems in outlets.

2020: Integration with Aveva Unified Operations Center

On May 20, 2020 it became known, Schneider Electric as Aveva announced expansion of partnership for providing the innovative solutions to the market of the centers of processing data (DPC). The combination Aveva Unified Operations Center, scalable industrial software, with abilities to manage and monitoring EcoStruxure for DPCs from Schneider Electric provides at the same time deep and wide overview of daily transactions. 2019: Announcement of the solution EcoStruxure Micro Data Center S-Series

On October 11, 2019 the Schneider Electric company announced expansion of a portfolio for hybrid IT, having presented the solution EcoStruxure Micro Data Center S-Series. The integrated Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Data Center Solutions systems integrate in themselves supply systems, coolings, installation and help with deployment of the distributed computer systems of any scales, from small peripheral to superlarge cloud data processing centers. The presented solution EcoStruxure Micro Data Center S-Series is designed to provide installation of high-end servers on the periphery in the compact body and to reduce the occupied space.

According to the statement of Schneider Electric which four are flexibly configured, managed and configured devices have the high level of information protection and modern technology of management:

  • EcoStruxure Micro Data Center: S-Series; S-Series; R-Series. The integrated infrastructure solution in one rack including the UPS, the system of distribution and means of cooling provides physical protection, management, monitoring, fast and simple deployment on the periphery in different conditions.
  • EcoStruxure Row Data Center: S-Series; S-Series; R-Series. The single-row, easily set up and scalable solutions which are previously configured equipped with electric power supply systems, coolings and managements. These solutions allow to accelerate and simplify design processes, installations and operation in different conditions.
  • EcoStruxure Pod Data Center: Pod. The infrastructure solution for placement of large computer systems offering easy integration with cooling systems and a power supply that provides simplicity of design and installation and allows to cut down up to 15% of a capital expenditure.
  • EcoStruxure Modular Data Center: All-in-One; IT Hall; Power. The solutions of high factory readiness delivered in the form of functional units for a power supply, cooling, IT or completely integrated solutions of DPC provide flexible and predictable deployment with a possibility of fast scaling.

As noted in Schneider Electric, the modern companies of all scales overcome digital transformation not to lag behind rates of promptly developing world of technologies. For achievement of this purpose of the company place the IT systems closer to data sources and places of their processing. This trend carries the name peripheral calculations. As a result, there are new difficulties, connected with the fact that distributed systems are often installed in places, improper for IT systems, with absence of IT employees that involves emergence of new requirements to ensuring information and physical security. EcoStruxure Micro Data Center C-Series is intended for placement on the periphery where are important compactness and the fault tolerance is obligatory. The device allows to mount big and heavy servers, network equipment and the UPS on a wall. It does not take the place on a floor 60% more compactly in comparison with traditional wall cabinets. Shock-proof packaging allows partners and customers to integrate previously IT with the engineering systems for the fast and standardized installation.

Devices are equipped with dust filters and ventilation that allows to use them with the broad range of conditions. The microdata-centers allow to support crucial business processes in the conditions which are not prepared for installation of IT systems claim in Schneider Electric.
