2020: Industrial automation with the help "1C: ERP Enterprise Management 2.0"

On November 9, 2020 the 1C-Rarus company reported that it automated accounting in production company BIOFUDLAB LLC. The information system created on the basis of the solution "1C: ERP Enterprise Management 2.0" integrated work of all divisions of the company. Terms of preparation of the management reporting decreased from 5 to 1 day. Work with orders is optimized, the speed of a registration and processing increased by 10%, cases of wrong information input are minimized. The expense of a packing material is optimized. Address storage in a warehouse, result — growth of turnover of warehouse stocks by 5% is organized.

According to the company, in 2019 the management of BIOFUDLAB LLC decided to begin an implementation project of the software product "1C:ERP Enterprise management 2.0". Earlier, account on different to divisions of the company was kept in separate accounting systems.

Operational activity — purchases, warehouse stocks, production and sales — was conducted in 1C: Small Business Management. Accounting and HR department worked in 1C: Enterprise Accounting and 1C: Payroll and HR Management respectively. Exchange between 1C: Small Business Management and was 1C: Enterprise Accounting long and required additional labor costs on reconciliation of data.

Consolidated statement at cost of finished goods with the detailed analysis on costs was filled in spreadsheets. On preparation of the management reporting 4–5 days left.

"1C: ERP Enterprise Management 2.0" the 1C-Rarus company became the partner in implementation.

At a stage of start of the project the following purposes are selected:

  • Refuse a linking of the operating information systems due to transition to the modern software 1C: ERP Enterprise Management 2.0.
  • Provide the management of a possibility of the analysis and control of processes of the company in real time.
  • Enter data into a system in places of their emergence, providing end-to-end accounting with required extent of detailing. Reduce the number of the developed and used electronic documents.
  • Provide a possibility of the analysis of the Customer orders registered in a system which are not executed for 100%.
  • Reduce quantity of cases of regrading between batches, storage locations.

The project is implemented in 6 months, a system integrated work of 50 users. The functionality of the 1C: ERP Enterprise Management 2.0 configuration appeared enough to avoid difficult completion, changes concerned 7% of standard functionality.

Project Results

  • The implemented information system optimized the speed and transmission quality of information between key divisions of the company.
  • Joint work of employees in a common information space allowed to increase the speed of preparation of the management reporting from 5 to 1 working day. There were more opportunities of data analysis.
  • In Technical inspection department incoming inspection of raw materials is provided.
  • Address storage in a warehouse is organized. Labor costs are reduced by maintaining warehouse transactions. The turnover of warehouse stocks grew by 5%.
  • Production planning and calculation of requirements is provided.
  • Accounting of units of measure of semi-finished products is processed. Earlier it was conducted by the piece. Because of an error in weight, the real production of bars did not match calculated. For November, 2020 automatic translation of kilograms of a batch (the planned amount of bars) in pieces (real quantity) is customized. It allowed to make accounting by more flexible, it is not necessary to think out any more as in a system to credit excess bars or, on the contrary, to reflect shortage. There was an idea of real cost value of each batch.
  • Exact cost accounting of job lot helped with overhead reallocation. If production of any job lot changed, expenses on it were divided into all series. Now expenses are reflected only in the changed batch.
  • The packaging expense is optimized. Earlier the need for packaging was calculated in the whole quantity on a release batch, on the basis of the weight of ready bars. Now calculation of the consumed packaging happens according to quantity of products at each stage, but is not set by the fixed number in the specification of a product.
  • The quantity of errors when loading orders with the EDI solution was reduced. All orders undergo preliminary reconciliation with the accounting system.
  • Integration about juice logistics allowed to control delivery and optimized quality of order processing. Speed of work with orders grew by 10%, errors are minimized.
  • Accounting of discounts by promotion actions of shops is configured. There was an opportunity to trace what action made big profit in specific shop during a certain period, to estimate efficiency of promotion actions. Now it is possible not only to set discount percent, but also conditions of its application. For example, the discount of 20% with the calculation in the center of the hall brings more sales, than a discount of 20% according to yellow price labels.

Project objectives are executed, in plans further development of a system: implementations of barcoding of goods, integration with online store, budgeting of finance.
