Flexible Computing Private

Flexible Computing Private will provide the platform for placement of virtual IT infrastructure of the company with increased requirements to security and backup of the main cloud.

Within service in creation of separate cloud solutions:

• The design of technical solution is developed, the existing infrastructure is transferred to it and connection through internet under the round-the-clock control Orange Business Services, LAN-to-LAN and IP VPN from Orange is provided.
• Servers can be placed in Russia, according to requirements of the Russian legislation, and worldwide. For example, the main platform can be located on the Russian servers, and the private cloud in Europe can be used for reservation of the main platform. Placement is manufactured in Russia in Tier data center of Ixcellerate which guarantees SLA with an indicator of availability of 99.9%.
• Data remain on hard drives or a tape. At the end of every day the tape is taken out to storage, remote from data center, at the expense of what georeservation is provided.

The used equipment (for September, 2018):

• the hypervisor is VMware of ESXi;
• servers — Hewlett-Packard;
• the storage system is Hewlett-Packard, NetApp;
• network equipment — Cisco;
• software licenses there is VMWare, Veeam, Microsoft, RHEL;
• the backup system is Veeam.

That the client receives (for September, 2018):

• the round-the-clock protection and video surveillance, records 90 days are stored;
• biometric protection against unauthorized access;
• signalizatsiyayu on an input to all premises;
• centralized operation by a security system in IXCellerate;
• the protected controlled platform for delivery and loading.

2011: Start

Orange Business Services, Cisco, EMC and VMware developed for the Russian market a special cloud service - Flexible Computing Private intended for creation of private cloud structures. This first officially presented solution within global alliance of vendors Flexible 4 Business where the listed companies enter above.

Acting as provider of services, will be engaged in integrator for all projects of alliance, Orange in the implementing solution Flexible Computing Private, using components of partners, and thanks to alliance Flexible 4 Business will become uniform point of entry on all questions concerning support of the solution and its components.

According to Christoph Zhoanblank, the CEO of Orange Business Services in Russia and the CIS, Flexible Computing Private are only the first solution issued within alliance in Russia. "In the nearest future we are going to provide to the market service of a public cloud, a number of SaaS of solutions in the field of security and unified communications and also service in backup and data storage to DPC of the operator", - he noted.

Flexible Computing Private is the IaaS-solution (infrastructure as service), service for creation of a private computing cloud which part are: technical assessment of readiness of the existing customer's IT infrastructure for migration in a cloud, design of the virtualized infrastructure platform, solution deployment in DPC of Orange or the enterprise and migration of applications and data in a private cloud.

The solution architecture of Flexible Computing Private is under construction on the basis of components of alliance partners of Flexible 4 Business - companies Cisco, EMC, VMware. A basis of the solution is the computing vBlock platform based on the Cisco UCS servers (Cisco Unified Computing System) and a line of storage systems of EMC VNX integrated by the high-performance Cisco switches Nexus.

As a hypervisor of virtual machines VMware of ESXi, a management system for the virtualization platform is used - VMware vCenter and VMware vCloud Director. Information security the separate judgment it is provided with products Cisco ASA, VMware vShield and specialized solutions of division of RSA of EMC company.

Being at the same time integrator and the telecom operator, Orange has own developed infrastructure and can provide the highest guarantees of SLA for all solution components (end-to-end SLA), said in official release about start of a product.

Mikhail Kristev, the deputy CEO of Cisco in Russia on work with partners, noted: "This project is unique for Russia the fact that the vendors which are actively cooperating within own alliance integrated with the telecom operator for providing modern cloud services. We are sure that behind development of cloud solutions the future and demand for services of a public cloud from customers will actively grow in Russia in the nearest future".

Let's note that it is after all not the first precedent of partnership of vend and operators for promotion of cloud services in the Russian market. So, the other day it was announced that Microsoft agreed with Rostelecom about use of its platform and applied products in the Russian national cloud platform. According to the agreement, the parties intend to be engaged in creation and promotion of IT services for the state and commercial organizations, said in the statement of the parties.

And in April, 2011 it was announced that Microsoft intends to start a cloud solution Office 365 until the end of the year within partnership with the companies "VimpelCom" and "SKB Kontur". The new business model assumes inclusion of Office 365 in a service package of these partners for corporate clients who will be able to pay these services in a consumption measure.
