Biography

2011: Working at "Rosa"

In parallel with his work at Rosa, Vladimir Rubanov continued his activities at the international Linux Foundation. There, he worked to develop a system of open standards and automated tools designed to ensure compatibility of software products in the Linux ecosystem.

In August 2013, by decision of the Board of Directors, Vladimir Rubanov was appointed CEO of Rosa, and in March 2014, after the reorganization of the group of companies was completed, he became president and general designer of the IT Research and Development Center Rosa.

In June 2015, he ensured the victory of the company "Dew" in the expert selection of the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications as part of the industry plan for import substitution of software in the direction of "Operating Systems."

2015: Transition to the position of vice president at Parallels and management of Rosplatforma

On October 19, 2015, the company Parallels announced the transfer of Vladimir Rubanov to the position of vice president for business development of virtualizations Virtuozzo server. 2020: Moving to work at Huawei

Rumors about the employment of Vladimir Rubanov in Huawei appeared in early November 2019[2]. But Rubanov himself then indicated that he continues to work at Rosplatforma, confirming, however, that Huawei had approached him with proposals for cooperation.

Later that month, Vladimir Rubanov appeared as one of the invited representatives of Huawei in the program of the open conference of the Institute of System Programming of the Russian Academy of Sciences named after V.P. Ivannikova (ISP RAS), scheduled for early December. Rubanov's position in the program was not specified.
