The city administration of Lesosibirsk implemented the project of satellite monitoring of work of city transport

The SCOUT group announced project completion of system implementation of monitoring in share taxis of the city of Lesosibirsk - the large industrial center of Krasnoyarsk Krai. The solution SCOUT allowed to optimize work of uniform dispatching service of city transport that is one of factors of quality improvement of service of passengers.

Solution

During the period from November to December, 2011 the equipment SCOUT for satellite monitoring was installed on 60 buses of the brand PAZ servicing all commercial routes of the city. The decision on system implementation SCOUT was made in connection with government decree No. 641 on equipment of all vehicles transporting passengers, the equipment of satellite navigation GLONASS or GLONASS/GPS.

Before to stop the choice on a System SCOUT, the city administration held the tender among hardware companies of the systems of satellite monitoring. The PKF-Energiya company, the representative of SCOUT Group in the territory of the city of Krasnoyarsk and Krasnoyarsk Krai, proposed the most optimal technical solution: perform external installation of equipment. It allowed to reduce the idle times of transport connected with installation of equipment.

"The monitoring GLONASS/GPS system SCOUT gave an opportunity of the round-the-clock control of passenger motor transport. Thanks to system implementation SCOUT in uniform dispatching service of the city it became much more convenient to collect data on work of route means. More accurate control of observance of schedules provided quality improvement of service of passengers", - Vitaly Severinov, the deputy head of administration of the city of Lesosibirsk concerning housing and communal services explains.
