JSC JSB Probusinessbank (Life Financial Group) and Jet Infosystems company expanded cooperation in outsourcing. IT infrastructure for work of four banking systems is transferred to integrator to service: document flow of IBM FileNet, data warehouse of DWH (Data Warehouse), processing solution OpenWay and automated banking system (ABS) of commercial bank "Let's Go!" (Novosibirsk). Within development of the five-year contract the equipment of these systems was transferred to service in addition to IT infrastructure of two core banking systems (RS-Bank and "InterBank RS") which was brought to outsourcing earlier. Thus, passed maintenance of all "core" of bank infrastructure into an area of responsibility of Jet Infosystems company.
Besides, the bank transferred support of the backup system (BS) to outsourcing. The centralized SRK provides data backup of 65 servers which cumulative net volume is about 4 TB.
Service of IT systems of bank includes administration and monitoring of the equipment, operating systems and databases. It is performed based on the Agreement on the level of service (SLA – Service Level Agreement). For example, single idle time of the systems of processing and the core banking system "Let's Go!", critical for work of bank, should not exceed 30 minutes, and total in a month - 60 minutes. After transfer of the new systems the total quantity supported by the outsourcer of servers grew by service more than twice.
If to compare the same periods of 2010 and 2012, the number of requests processed monthly on all manual operating systems increased more than by 10 times. For example, in April of the current year the number of requests reached 316.
Alexey Pirogov, the vice president for banking information technologies, CIO of Probusinessbank, tells: "Our cooperation began with transfer on outsourcing of infrastructure of the core banking system RS-Bank, critical for work of bank. The bilateral relations gradually became stronger, and in process of development we began to trust integrator the solution of new tasks. Transfer of bigger number of functions on outsourcing gave us the chance to reorient own IT department on implementation of strategic plans. Performance of department considerably increased, at the same time its number practically did not change".
"A framework of cooperation in outsourcing constantly extends. Not only the volume of the provided services increased, but also requirements to service of systems considerably raised. If for support of the systems of the core banking system RS-Bank and Interbank the maximum downtime is 1 hour, then for the "iron" of the systems of processing and the core banking system "Let's Go!" which is recently transferred to outsourcing target SLA sets a framework 30 minutes. To reach the level of the set SLA, from us serious preparatory work will be required. We are going to carry out a complex of works on improvement of systems.
